Man!! You just have to accept that is off limits after dark...Do Not Go!!!Yep...........it's a maggot pit down there.
Snowflakes?????I literally had to cut the kernels off the cob for my chickens to eat because they were scared of a whole ear of corn.
Snowflakes?????
It hasn't just turned, it's been this way for a while. Local politicians, Chamber of Commerce, news media and, law enforcement have been able to keep it quiet for a long time. If any news of crime ever did get out, they were quick to blame it on undesirable tourists. People here knew that it was really local people committing the crimes on tourists.Place has turned into the hood.....shame.....many fond memories from growing up.

Nowadays, with cameras in everyone's hands and places like Facebook, You Tube, Twitter and others, the truth gets out and spreads quickly. What used to be swept under the rug is spread far and wide now. Last week's shooting and last night's shooting has even been mentioned on local TV here.
Local bigwigs have made their bed and now they find it's not very comfortable. It's going to take a long time to undo the mess they have created. But first, they will have to want to undo it. Until then, it'll be business as usual.
Yes, I can tell by the tilt of her head and the soulful expression on her face that she's not cut out for leadership. It's quite obvious.
I saw that BBW has been postponed to Labor day weekend. On their own website. Is it BBW this weekend? I saw a lot of enclosed trailers headed that way on Friday.
That's at least 1 thing the 2 bike weeks have in common, they should be called trailer week.
Ah, Charleston area isn't safe either. Isle of Palms is a war zone. Chad's, Kyle's, Monster Energy Drinks, and Wranglers with mud grip tires that have never gripped mud are everywhere. Myrtle Beach is definitely a much better place. Oh, fishing is terrible here too. Just keep going south to Savannah would be your safest bet.Word is spreading fast here in North Carolina to vacation outside of Myrtle Beach. Anyone I know that goes to South Carolina beaches goes on south of the city or toward Charleston areas. It’s true some trouble comes from tourist, particularly BBW but the majority is local to Horry County. I have friends and family who have retired to the city who are wishing they had not picked the area. Ocean Blvd is a cesspool of troublemakers and hotels that have been sold off to Indian motel owners who only care about rented rooms regardless of the activities not family friendly. It’s going to get much worse. This is no family area any longer.
Just watched a video rom last Friday by Mrs. Mayor and Ms. Police Chief. Crime is down in double digets and the Poleeece are doing a great job. We are completely prepared for this week end.
Waiting to she what she says Today. They are pitiful! MBPD is a laughing stock with their Ms. Chief and her subordinates. Remember from 79th North to the entrance to Market Commons on the Ocean Boulevard is Not safe when the sun goes down. If you go there accept and prepare for the worst you can imagine.
If you go to Broadway At The Beach after dark please stay in condition Yellow. This is serious business especially when your family is involved.
Seems easy enough to solve. If any news of crime ever did get out, they were quick to blame it on undesirable tourists. People here knew that it was really local people committing the crimes on tourists.
Option #2 please. Hiding the problem is yet another crime. Or it should be...Honest question, what could the police do to stop the violence? I mean if they started placing jack booted patrols with MP5's on every block I'm sure the mayhem would decrease but so would the tourism bucks. And let's face it, tourism is the only thing that keeps that city alive.
The other option is to catch the criminals after the fact and make examples out of them. Again this publicizes the crime problem.
What else is there?
I'd that's read the other wa . Then yes its B B W down there. Lotsa big girls always thereIs it BBW this weekend? I saw a lot of enclosed trailers headed that way on Friday.

Eliminate all tourists.
The same thing Virginia Beach did 20 years ago. Keep the trouble makers Out. They did it in a grand way. Stopped every motorcycle going across their bridges for "safety" checks. Arrested hundreds for all kinds of violations. Backed up traffic for Miles. Let one through every 1?2 hour or so. As soon as the troublemakers are eliminated the people with money return and the world is ready again.Honest question, what could the police do to stop the violence? Why stop just motorcycles? If you are going to do that, you need to stop every vehicle. Bad guys drive cars and trucks too. And, you meet the nicest people on a Honda. Are you just going to stop Harley's and Suzuki's?The same thing Virginia Beach did 20 years ago. Keep the trouble makers Out. They did it in a grand way. That would never work here because there is No Will. The coffers are empty here because people that used to vacation here are never coming back. The single moving entity in Murder Beach is Myrtle Beach Farms. Known by new comers as Burroughs & Chapin Company. They had to change their name because it sounded too agrarian. They abandoned down town. No Pavillion, No rides, No security. They saw it coming and fled.
Yes, JR, it Could be fixed but it would require the Leaders to have the Will to do it.
