I like that so much I had to write it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE!!!my favorite edc gun is a Gen 3 G23, which is basically just an angrier version of a G19.
No Glock hater here, this was my first choice many moons ago, I just didn't have the hand strength or whatever to shoot it! Lol. Funny how things work out.....Shows you what I know!
See this is why I've never been a betting man.
I intentionally left out my observations regarding the G19. That is...I've seen the Gen 4 G19 convert more Glock haters than any of their other models. I don't know what it is, but it seems to have the mojo.
And also, my favorite edc gun is a Gen 3 G23, which is basically just an angrier version of a G19.
Glad you found something you like and will provide few if any headaches. Most importantly, it came with the thingies.
Just don't try a CZ PCR or P01. Then you would have to sell your Grock!
Enjoy your new toy!
Then she will have to sell all her guns to afford one of those!I have a CZ Custom Protek I’ll have to have her shoot someday.

Oh man, with my record lately with guns, I really pray that I didn't jinx his nice gun!!! It was a really nice gun....@Hashknife turned @Millie into an STI fan, too.
Once we're sure my "gun-destroying cooties" are gone, I'll be happy to give it a go!I have a CZ Custom Protek I’ll have to have her shoot someday.
Just did.And what did you find amusing about that?
In my opinion you made a good choice. A Glock 19 is boringly reliable, easy to maintain, easy to shoot, easy to find parts/accessories for, easy to conceal, and has the capacity to compete. While I now prefer CZs, I have, and will always have my G19 Gen 3 that I started with.
We can do it...just gotta be careful which bbq joint we go to. There is Bridges BBQ and Red Bridges BBQ and the feuds around here over those two spots rival anything Hatfield or McCoy ever did lol.Draco, we need to have a BBQ lunch in Shelby, and afterwards, you can take me for a CZ shoot. I'll brang BHPs and we can compare.
This is my many purpose gun.
@Millie
Ok, now you got your Glock. Which holster are you now looking at? In Waist Band, Outside Waist Band, Shoulder, Cross draw, Appendix, Purse? Nylon, Leather, Kydex, etc? Seems I mentioned something about a drawer full

How was your steak, "Not too Bad". Well, glad you could choke it down. I never heard that "Not Too Bad" thing in my whole life til we were covered up with Yankees.
Lucky for me, I have a cat! Whew.....View attachment 122560 @Millie just becareful leaving it unattended. Lol
Yes, I do have a few holsters around the house, just like you guys said I would!! LOL.@Millie

The Sig isn't going anywhere!! I have an extractor coming for it, and I'll get the guy at Jim's to put it in if I can't, and then I'll hit the range for some (minimal) Sig shooting....lol...Congratulations. Reliability is the most important factor in a purchasing decision. They are not stylish guns but they are extremely tough guns. Now start a thread on how great the Sig is working, wait a week, then put it in the ad section for some loser to purchase. Sig is for men who carry poodles, bleach their bunghole, and drive Chevy trucks. Hehe.
Ok, now you're just being mean!! Lol.This is my many purpose gun.

Seems like a good decision to me. It'll probably serve all your needs (while also costing you less to shoot than your .380 or .45).
But, your comment about capacity confused me. As far as I know, the G19 magazine holds 15 rounds. The M&P Compact (at least the 2.0 version, both 4 and 3.6") also holds 15 while the M&P 9mm ("full sized", both the original and the 2.0) holds 17 rounds. This makes me wonder what M&P you tried today.
I was putting 11 (?) in something at some point, but at any rate, whatever it was, it lost the race.....you guys know I have trouble recalling all the gun names. The range guy said it's an M&P, no Shield, 9mm. Maybe there's more than one? It was nice though, but the Glock fit my needs better.Me too....???
