No More Squat

It's a bullsh*t law and an obvious example of political pandering.

People want to to squat their vehicles? Let them. How does that affect me?

And don't go on about safety as an excuse when others elevate their vehicle's center of gravity way too high, install ultra bright headlights, illegal after market lights, earthquake sound systems, and window tint way to dark to safely see through.

People want to squat their vehicles? The LAST thing we need are MORE BS laws over stupid things like that.

When I was a kid in the 1970s jacked up rear ends, HiJackers, shackles, and traction bars were on full display everywhere, especially circling The Big Rebel Drive-In. Saw a lifted front a few times back then too. When I asked someone 'why the front-lift?' I was told "don't know, maybe it makes them think they're pulling a wheelie"...

I was hoping this was going to be a pic thread of drunk-girls-peeing.
They may have been a truly acceptable 60’s leftover … the Gasser! I will give that form of “squat” huge props … and the guys who drove them.

When I was younger I certainly thought the opposite stance was cool... high in the back....

Shackles baby!

Dumbest vehicle mod ever!! lol

BIG "Rimz" are all the rage these days with the younger crowd. One of the issues with the BIG Rimz is when they go to make a left or right turn in the vehicle.
The tires end up hitting the front bumper before the turn is completed.

Lifting the front allows the tires to turn L. & R. without hitting the front bumper and grinding the tires. I have seen several of the "squatted" trucks with 5"+ of the front bumper cut off to make room. Some of the 4x4 trucks with BIG Rimz have the same problem.

This squatted vehicle doesnt appear to have a trimmed bumper. The lift allows the vehicle to turn "normally".
