If mass shootings in our own country haven't prompted a massive push for the abolishment of the second amendment, one in New Zealand is not going to.
The left prefers the slippery slope. Take a little here, little there. Turn up the temp slowly and no one knows they're being boiled alive. They'll rattle the AWB sword during elections, but they don't have the power to swing it right now.
Against my better judgement, I watched. I've seen some stuff in my time, but the woman in the street was where I couldn't take it anymore. Sickening stuff. The inhumanity of it, that you've depersonalized an entire group of people so deeply that you could do something like this.
The only thing I could think of the whole time is how helpless you'd be in that situation. Imagine instead of a mosque, your church.
If that one guy who rushed him early on had been armed though, this might have turned out a whole lot different. I hope history remembers his name, because it takes a rare type of courage to charge a man with a rifle.
