I like the red actually, I think my preference goes Red>blue>black. I think the silver would be drowned out by the urban grey of the pistol.

Good point. The red on grey would be a cool contrast. Then the engraving in raw format would really pop

Well, I use a FNX45 quite a bit so I am a little accustomed to the transfer.

But, with that in mind, I find the trigger to be extremely nice. I never really had a problem with Glock triggers as they were what I cut my teeth on. One other thing that I have noticed is that the decocker goes to half cock, so it's really a pseudo-double action first pull.

Using the CZ has made me wonder if anyone from Glock ever actually looked at their hands when designing their pistols.

I guess I could get one of our local people to do the engraving and all. I don't see on their page where they would do it.

I'll probably have to wait a month or so because I've already dropped some on magazines and a holster, and still need to pay a friend back some coin. So my wallet needs a fire extinguisher.

No. I bought it used. Original owner ordered through CGW custom. I don't have the original invoice, so I don't know all custom parts. The trigger is amazing and I have a real affection for the extended mag release.

That's an extended one? holy cow, how flat is the stock one? LOL - my stumpy sausage fingers wouldn't be able to hit the darn thing if it were much smaller.

I was CZ assimilated. When noobishly seeking my first handgun, the CZ-P07 just settled in my hand like it belonged there. I had tried S&W; Glock; Sig; and Beretta (the PX4 because I thought the rotating barrel was cool engineering), but each one felt a bit "off." The CZ picked me, not the other way around.

Same type of experience, except it was the Px4 compact that felt right...but it took Talon grips to push it to the top.
