Pistol Picture Thread

Picked this up today from a forum member.
Magnum Research Baby Desert Eagle in .45 ACP. Though it’s got “Desert Eagle” marked on it, it’s actually decended from the Jericho, which is decended from the Tanfoglio, which is a derivative of the CZ 75. (Got all that?)

My wife hates that I have already started calling it “The Hebrew Hammer”.

I'll never have an AKSU74, but...... that'll do pig.

Draco 9s (Evo mags, 9mm), PA 9mm prism 1x, PSA triangle brace and home dyed factory wood.

Now I just need to find a lookalike booster for the muzzle in 1/2-28 that isn't too narrow inside lol

556, 7" barrel, bog standard upper and lower, bolt on carry handle with little locknuts instead of the giant ones, Chinesium 4" tooooob handguard, Magpul K2 grip, bolt on FSB w a blindman size chevron sight post, Troy Claymore brake, Chinesium SBA3 clone.

It's so tiny. I love it.

I had to belt sand a few mm off the front of the handguard to allow the gas block to seat properly and I slapped some aluminium black on it to cover the shiny ring.

I'm doing one just a lil shorter than that, got the 3.5" MCS buffer tube recoil dingus and having a 9mm barrel chopped down to about 3" with that same sort of rail and a fat brake with Glock suppressor height sights on the rail.

It's going to be my PBDW (Phone Booth Defence Weapon). I do love a stupidly short AR lol

Just got to get off my arse and send the darn barrel!

Getto as S#@T

On a serious note, what weight buffer do you use?
Doesn't have a buffer. It's a captive spring and rod that nests inside the bcg during recoil.

Looks like it will fall into the 1992 year. Should be a two letter code underside of the frame near the muzzle. 1992 would be KC.

A - 0
B - 1
C - 2
D - 3
E - 4
F - 5
G - 6
H - 7
J - 8 (SIG started using the letter “I” in 2018 on their non-P210 guns)
K - 9

I'll give a look when I get back to the house. I noticed some markings on the under side of the slide just behind the muzzle, but nothing on the frame underside.
I'll post what I see once I get back to the house.

Yeah that's the right area. There's a list on the Sig Forum that has compiled serial numbers. I saw another U477XXX and it was listed as a '92 so pretty sure that will be correct for yours. I have the same gun from 1990 so marked as "KA". I'm a big fan of German Sigs and the DA/SA operation.

Love Kitty Kat style AR's.

Evolution X Defense (rebranded New Frontier Armory) 9mm CZ mag upper and lower, 6" barrel with a KAK flash can, cheap other gubbins. So light even with the 35rd mag. I'm amazed that the grey Chinesium sort of matches the Magpul grip.
