I can’t keep pics like that out of my head when I’m sitting in an airplane seat looking out the window at a jet engine. If that thing comes unravelled it’s going to turn me into sausage.

Clogged oiler straved the wrist pin for oil and it moved hal way out catching it self on the bottom edge on the liner, snapping its self in half allowing the rod to move free. The rod then swung around inside free at least one full rotation blowing out both sides of the block and smashing the cam in two. The rod is pictured in the guess what this is thread just a few bellow this one.I'm used to seeing the "metal art" that blowed up racing engines become. That an impressive piece of art- so whats the cause of it all ?

Yeah, I don't think JB Weld is gonna fix that.
Mfg, well inside it too, paccar is tsking the block and internals to inspect them and see what they can learn. What ever they are mitting the rids out of is some hard stuff...Mfg warranty or 'extended' warranty?
I know that’s something your dad taught you because I heard it in my dads voice. All mechanical things have a life expectancy whether it be short or long.
If you dont make a maintenance schedule your equipment will for you
100%, I was blessed with a good one. He took the time to teach, that doesnt mean he didnt beat my rear end and that he didnt get pissed. He was always bad about throwing tools when he got really pissed. But he only taught one way, his was, and thats how you were going to learn it.I know that’s something your dad taught you because I heard it in my dads voice.
