Learn something new everyday! These are Bianchi Lightning grips.
I think I'd like a set of those for my Pitbull!! (Or at least try them)These are Bianchi Lightning grips. There was around for awhile, a few decades ago. They are rubber grips with a built-in hammer shroud. They are both a bit heavy and sort of ugly, but they are a part of revolver accessory history....so, they have a place here. The extra weight is really noticeable on the K Frame grips. This is a Model 36 and a Model 10-5.
Oh s**t. I need to go change my shorts. For those who like the short k frames. [emoji6]
Can you tell us more about it? What model? You have a letter...to where was it shipped originally? How about some really old revolver action. According to the letter from S&W, dates back to 1861. Probably been in the family ever since.
Whew! I thought it was me.For some reason, a lot of photos are not showing up. Trying to fix it. I believe that it is a phtobucket problem.
It seems I mis-remembered. It was 1862. Sorry, I'm too lazy to transcribe the letter, so here's a pic of that paragraph. Can you tell us more about it? What model? You have a letter...to where was it shipped originally?

This might be one of my favorite revolvers photos. Where is this wonderful place?
acl864 is right. We only made it to the 5th page of this thread before Cocked & Locked dropped the money shot. It's all down hill from here.
Not one to be outdone...I also have a two tone revolver. As you can see from the factory letter, this was delivered to NASA in 1969. Some of the nickel is peeling. I understand that to be from exposure to radiation in space. This was carried by astronauts.
You mean investment...
Is that the one from Shelby area? Either way, nice 29Just picked up a 4" Model 29. It goes nicely with my 6" model 29.

Two sides to every story...
Don't see many of those old squeezers around any more.
