Classy @Prosecutor ... well done sir!
That looks very nice. You don't see many Barami grips that aren't black.
There is/was a set of brown ones on Ebay yesterday.
I see a brown set for Taurus on there today. Nothing for Smiths. Now, there is pink....
Short story of my S&W 940.
I had posted pic of my 3" 940 here back in Feb as part a group photo of my 9mm revolvers. Around that same time I contacted the S&W historian Roy Jinks for a ship date for the 940. When he replied with the date of Oct . 7, 1991 he mentioned that it was an interesting gun. That's his way of saying get a factory letter. Well I got the gun lettered and found out that it was shipped to gun writer and publisher Doc O' Meara in Virginia Beach for research on an article he was doing on the 940.
So I started my search for a 25 yr old article. He had written several books and articles on Colts but I could not find anything regarding this 940 article. Since he had passed away in 2014 I was pretty much running out of resources. Through another forum I met a fellow that knew a son of Doc. I got in touch with the son and he remembered he gun but not the specific article but knew which mags his father wrote for back in the early 90's. To cut this missive short I found that the article was in the June 1992 issue of Guns Magazine. I contacted them and received a pdf of the article with my gun pictured. Another month of searching ebay landed me a complete good copy of the actual magazine.
I realize that this is not as significant as say the Registered Magnum that belonged to Gary Cooper and sold last month for $50,000. But with all the guns we buy, sell and trade you never know what you might find.
Click on the pdf files to see pg 2 of the history letter, mag cover, and article with my gun pictured.

That is very cool. Great post. Really like the revolver. I've been thinking about a 940 but decided against it at 2". A 3" barrel would have sold me, fast.
The rubber grip is probably an Uncle Mike's Combat, right? if so, I may have an extra laying around if you want to restore that to original configuration.
Hmmm...double action only. Not bad. Looks like a Ruger SP101 barrel. Grip looks great and probably feel great in the hand.

I do too. You would do well to take a close look at the Ruger Wiley Clapp GP100. It's one serious Roscoe!!I've got a soft spot for a 3" .357

Very nice of you @Prosecutor , and maybe @Cocked & Locked will post one of his great pictures of his gun wearing the grips, pink shorts optional.
Mail carrier dropped off the DeSantis Clip Grip from esteemed forum member Prosecutor yesterday. Thanks you Sir for your generosity. If they don't work out for me I'll pass them on to someone else as you requested.
Pink shorts are in the washer at this moment. Grip pics with the attire of the day will have to suffice at this time.

Dad gum... I need to get out of this thread. If I stick around much longer my family will not eat again or live under a roof. Beautiful wheel guns! What is it my wife says? "You have enough... You have enough... You have enough." God help me...
Do you shoot competitions with that Performance Center? Like the Hogues. Of course, I like the revolvers a lot too. Just like practical / comfortable grips on a good shooter.

Good luck with your revolver addiction. Withdrawal symptoms ain't easy.
