OK help me walk through this idea and make sure I'm not missing any legal NFA niceties.......
If I were to take a Nordic Components AR-22 Chassis for a Ruger 10/22 and install a blade brace instead of a traditional AR stock, I could then drop a Charger pistol into said stock/chassis and legally have a pistol, correct?
Further, Since the chassis itself is not the firearm and the receiver drops into the chassis, I could technically swap back and forth between a rifle in the chassis (with appropriate stock) and a pistol in the chassis (with appropriate brace) as long as the pistol does not reside in the chassis when it has a stock installed.
That ^ is the part I'm fuzzy about.
Thoughts??
