you probably correct - one ragged hole for the Ruger - circles all around it for the CZI'm betting a CZ 455 Will shoot circles around it. We will see.
I have a rpr In 6.5 but the rim fire just looks ugly to me. I'm about to buy a .22 bolt gun but can't decide between the cz 455 and the savage mark 2 fv-sr.
My results were unpopular and not much appreciated by the Czech fanboys. I personally have no preference in brands, I’m certainly not “brand loyal”, I just call things as they are. My CZ shot decent, just not as good as my Savage. The CZ has a new home now while the Savage has a forever home in my safe. This decision was based solely on results. I didn’t care which one was better, but one was, and it wasn’t close.@hlpressley tried both with interesting results. Maybe he'll chime in...

I have already preordered one of the Ruger RPR Rimfire rifles with my FFL. If and when it outperforms the Savage, I will be happy to say so.
My late grandfather once told me that if I wanted friends when I got where I was going, I best take some with me.That's why we like you Harold, you say what you mean!

I'd have to wait and see of they make a left handed version. I don't much feel like going Private Jackson.

Because for one thing then there would be some more really nice precision barrels made to put on a 10/22If they'd make these new rimfire actions compatible with 10/22 barrels that would be awesome.

Mine arrived today, first impression is good. It's heavier than I expected, the trigger is very crisp and breaks clean. I removed the spring to change the bolt throw to 3". I am planning on taking it to the range this weekend.
Did you have to special order or are these in gun stores now?
Have you had a chance to shoot it yet?I bought this one through CDNN, it was $399

We need to shoot precision rimfires together. That's my jam right there. I'm much better at that discipline than the fumbling around I do trying to shoot steel.
If that last part is true, I def don't want to shoot precision with you then. You don't do much fumbling.
Sadly it is true. Though I rarely shoot any Precision matches.
I bought my first CZ bolt gun 11 years ago. It was so much fun to shoot. We'd go to the range and shoot tiny little targets all day. When I first got it all I had was the factory 5 round magazine. Still didn't stop me from shooting 750 rounds per session.
Then we got suppressed rifles and shot even more. It is a hoot.
Rimfire steel is relatively new for me. Started it in 2015 and still feel like a noob much of the time.
Curiosity question; Did notice your CZ getting better the more you shot it?
I purchased a LH American 452 when they first came out and there was a noticable improvement after running 4-5 bricks of ammo through it. Almost all of the first ammo shot through it was Wolf Match target.
