Pulled the plug on getting a 686+ to have fun with along with my Colt Python. After taking it home from the FFL and upon cleaning and further inspection, I realized there is an imperfection in the machining. Crazy dumb swivel marks and some pitting on the barrel. Guess what they say about S&W QC is true.
Anyhow, should I be concerned about this in terms of long function use, or is it just an eye sore? Again, I’ve yet to shoot the thing.
