Rioters Attack Vehicles After Blocking Highway Traffic: Would Lethal Self-Defense Be Justified?
Not even problem D. I started carrying my AR on the front seat of my truck Friday.Would Lethal Self-Defense Be Justified?
Good God, suddenly everybody is a Billy Badass, "I got this rifle and a gazillion magazines and enough food and water to stay in my truck for 2 months"
Has it occurred to anyone to AVOID the areas where you THINK there may be trouble?? What's the saying "If I THINK there's going to be trouble where I'm going, how about I just don't go there"?? Or not, your choice.....
I don't think it's all about being a badass. It's about being prepared. There are guys like SnowRooster, and me, who have to work/drive through hot spots such as Charlotte. I don't get riot days off.Good God, suddenly everybody is a Billy Badass, "I got this rifle and a gazillion magazines and enough food and water to stay in my truck for 2 months"

I have to drive 1+ hours to work, and it’s through Durham. Me a “badass”? I’d say no, I’d just like to get home in one piece.Good God, suddenly everybody is a Billy Badass, "I got this rifle and a gazillion magazines and enough food and water to stay in my truck for 2 months"

more like 1980 since you're rocking that A2 gripWelcome to 2020, mask-check, sanitizer-check, side arm-check, AR-check, spare mags-check.
What about people who are in the medical/LEO or other such fields, or otherwise just plain take pride in the services they provide, and are willing to accept an increased risk in order to keep providing them to people who need them?So I guess there's only ONE way to get to where you MUST work?? No other possible routes, I suppose your work is life and death on a daily/hourly basis. Man I feel for ya...
You purposely go into an area that you KNOW isn't safe, I lose any and all compassion.
I will certainly avoid those areas if possible. But in NC the home, your place of work and your car are special cases. If you are in fear for your life, great bodily harm or sexual assault and you did not instigate a conflict, then you likely have the right to use deadly force. Breaking into your car is the same as breaking into your house from that stand point. If you purposely drive your car towards a crowd you have probably given up the ability to claim self defense. You are the aggressor. Likely why the semi driver we all saw a few days ago in MN got arrested. Remember you will likely have to go before a Prosecutor and a jury you had better be sure you are on the right side of the law before you start popping off rounds with a shorty AR15.

Non issue, it’s another plastic handle. Other than the LAW folder, SB brace & CMC trigger, it’s a budget build that won’t hurt too bad if lost/damaged. If come across a BCM grip for $10 I’ll replace it.more like 1980 since you're rocking that A2 grip
I’m not familiar with your posts previously revealing compassion. So I guess there's only ONE way to get to where you MUST work?? No other possible routes, I suppose your work is life and death on a daily/hourly basis. Man I feel for ya...

Can I get one of those with a pistol brace? If we want to carry a freaking bazooka, then that's our decision.
Yep. Not a bad idea!Welcome to 2020, mask-check, sanitizer-check, side arm-check, AR-check, spare mags-check.

NC is an OC state so leaving home with a rifle is perfectly legal also.Everybody's got an excuse..... Whatever.... Has it occurred to anyone that leaving home with anything but your lawfully carried handgun could be considered as "looking for trouble"?? Of course it hasn't, ya'll all badass up in here.....
Besides, I'm in the dog house with LJ so I have other fish to fry. She wanted to go to some furniture store off Tryon and Harris yesterday and I told her NO because of the area of town and it's potential issues. She copped an attitude, so did I and we had a quiet evening at home. She cooked what she wanted for dinner as did I. She had yogurt and fruit and I had a nice KC strip, a baked potato and a salad. I was happy, I don't know about her....
