Should I buy a CZ Clone (TriStar) or a CZ?

Same here...prefer metal framed da/sa guns, bit we like PPQ's, too. The wife and I have four PPQ's beetween the two of us (M1, M2, 5", and a First Edition) and she has a G26 for carry because its smaller than the PPQ.
But thats it for the plastic. Everything else is Sig or CZ.

Seriously, my wife thinks all my handguns are exactly the same one. She knows I have a lot of guns, but she never asks any questions. Likewise, each time I see her wearing a new necklace or dress, I am sure to compliment her and keep moving. We both have our hobbies...

I wanted that gun but the drive was the killer. Maybe when you tire of it like your other stuff or I report it to your wife and it cost you 10 pairs of shoes.

I have a new CZ I have yet to shoot. No way to get to the outdoor range due to the rain. Maybe this weekend if Denver Defense is still open. Four guns in the house that have yet to be shot by me. Bring on the heat wave.

I want blue grips... Yesterday I was looking on Amazon, but they are all orange. What website is best for buying CZ parts? Cajun gun works? I think I'll go ahead and get a trigger upgrade kit too.

I have two guns with Cajun parts in them...one done by Cajun, one by me, and I have another parts kit ready to drop in another.
They are fantastic...like a completely different guns. I cant say enough about them. Triggers are smooth. Guns operate smoothly. Reset and followup are incredible.
That said, the gun I have that CZ Custom did outshines both. The trigger is soooo much smoother. The gun operates sooo much smoother overall. Reset and followup are about tbe same.

As for the grips, Ebay usually has a good selection, too. Just stay away from the black ones with the scorpions on them and the guy that makes them. Don't know if it was just a bad run of his, or if it is a consistant problem, but I had issues with those grips breaking apart under recoil pressure and some chunks got into the magwell then worked their way up into tbe extractor and caused me stoppages.
I wont buy any more from him.

Both of those are from a company called Cool Hand. Orange is Sunburst pattern (pretty sure thays the pattern name, but its not hard to find if you search cool hand) and the others are the Snakeskin pattern in coyote color.
Ive had the best luck on Amazon and Ebay for those guys stuff.

Check out LOK grips. They make several textures in lots of different colors in G10. If your looking on Amazon search for Guuun Grips. They make a few different patterns for CZs but only offer a couple of colors. Usually Gray/Black or Green/Black. The best thing is they're only $40 with free shipping.

I'm really leaning toward the green ones... I really like OD green. But I already have a bunch of guns with OD Green frames or furniture. I'm also bored with FDE. But I don't have anything that's blue...
 
I've read about a number of guys covering the green ones with Talons. :D
 
I vote blue...but my vote dont mean squat lol. Not a fan of green in most any of its forms. Blues and other bright colors are iffy...its mostly case by case for me. But of those two choices, Id say blue. Personally, Im more of a blak/gray/earth tone kinda guy myself.

I'm with Draco. The bright blues and greens don't do it for me. I like those two colors in more subtle tones. But I am pretty boring. If you are always the star of the show and want attention rock the bright colors with pride. If you go bright colors you could open carry and blend in at the local gay pride parade just fine. If you go desert sand, gray or a borong color like me then you can blend in with the local GI Joe's and militia members. Your call. :p

I'm straight, but it wouldn't be my first gay pride parade. The way I see it, a man/woman ought to be able to do whatever they want as long as they are not interfering with me.
