Sling for fat krink

What’s a good way to put a sling on this ak I’d like to keep the wood but I’m willing to go to a metal hand-guard I just need something that isn’t a makeshift paracord sling

It looks to me like the stock has a hole that’s made to take a single point sling.

Rifles that short really don’t benefit too much from a 2 point sling.

Not recommending this particular one just googled quick detach single point sling to get a visual.

Blue force is my go to. Got a deal awhile back and bought like 15 of them.

It was one of those deals somebody posted. They were for the AR and not AK but they’re the same basic sling.

I think at that time they were $40 each normally. The special was $15 each.

I actually need more AR slings than AK lol.

Not sure. I’d try just checking how hot that area gets next time you’re at the range.

That blue force gear sling looks like it’s braided metal (under the plastic coating?) on one end, so may not matter if it gets hot.

You are correct, it’s stainless steel cable. They made so if needed, a lefty could thread it under or around the gas block. Since they do not have the sling loop on the right side.
