Terrible Cars

I have seen that sweet tracker on I-40. I like it. I am interested in anything with a motor so like I like threads like this. I drive 150-200 miles a day and I get to see a lot of stuff. I have a buddy with several modified HHRs and as a joke I send him picture of ridiculous ones that I come across and poke fun that these people are his type of people. I know they are different cars but also lump in random pics of PT Cruisers to him because I count the people who like those cars as probably liking HHRs too. Lol

Yep, I think it was when I left Kernersville and was heading back towards Statesville. As they say…to each his own. Hahahaha

Nothing like using a $5k set of wheels as curb feelers.

Nothing like a $5k set of wheels as pothole feelers, too. Plenty of people seem to like paying big bucks for something they'll have to pay more big bucks to get fixed because they're more easily damaged.

I once saw a video a guy made about those very expensive rims and low profile tires...he said to be sure you set aside several hundred dollars in your budget above the cost of the rims and tires, because you WILL damage one once in a while and have to replace it.

Today in Winston. The left rear rim was either bent to hell or the wheel was not mounted correctly to the axle because it was wobbling like crazy. It had to have had a wild vibration.

Years ago, there were some instances where a balance weight was tacked onto the face of the brake drum and these were attached in a specific location on the drum. If you ended up putting on a non OE specific wheel it's possible that the back side of the wheel may not clear the weight and not fit flush on the drum causing a vibration, sometimes pretty severe.

Ask me how I know.

angles/perception etc...but it looks like the back is crabbed out/not straight/in line with the front

Judging by how far inset the front wheel is, I’m apt to say that’s some other vehicles chassis that has a much narrower track than the body width. Maybe a s10 roller or something along those lines.

I don't know. The fella sitting in there looks kind of tall. Maybe it's more practical than it appears as an ugly version of rolling on 30's.

These sunny days have got people running out and spending that hard earned cash on some sweet convertibles. This things has temp tags on it.
