Yes, V8s from that era, in stock form, were quite weak.
Think of the V8 Mustang GT from the 80s/early 90s, the Fox Body
225 hp from five liters of American Muscle.
225.
That's it. It's laughable, really.

1992 Camaro - just slightly better.
Hey - I resemble that remark. šŸ˜

I've had several fox bodies and even an SN95 with the 5.0 of that era. HP numbers aren't everything. They made good torque and any of them could easily burn the rear tires off. Fun cars, sounded good too. Priced a fox body lately? šŸ˜±

The 04 GT I have now only makes 260, but same story, feels really torquey and IMO sounds better than the modern ones with 400hp.

WhistlinDiesel says those G Wagons are pretty tough.

Maybe so.

But not with those rims and low profile tires.

Once saw a video years ago about rims and tires like that. Guy said you WILL bust a rim. It's not a question of "if". That means you need to have at least $600 on you for a replacement at all times. Apparently simple potholes are the bane of rims like that.

A lot of time building and drinking beer went into this one. It's on Marketplace if you want to see the other pictures.

I can really appreciate all the rust up top where the 1/2" thick layer of bondo cracked out. And also the fact that they didn't even match up the body line before going to town with the welder.

This is in my neighborhood.
That wing is quite optimistic.

Also, they had a gender reveal party the other night and did MULTIPLE burnouts in their driveway. If I were the neighbor or across the street I'd have been FURIOUS.
Renters...

That's not a wing. It's a lunch counter. You're supposed to use it as a place to set your drink while you scarf down Cheeseburgers at Sonic.

I owned an Aztek with the add on tent, air mattress, and cooler. Still have the cooler and air mattress. It got totalled on a L.A. freeway by a double trailer gravel hauler. The tow driver was impressed how well it held up in the crash.

Just read that Aztec article...actually that sounds pretty neat. It's still so ugly, though.

So I just posted a car at Planet Fitness/Harbor Freight, a Toyota that's awesome
Welp, here is what I saw just before the wagon.
NOT so awesome.
That bodywork is gross. The black bits were real ripply when seeing it in person

I have seen that sweet tracker on I-40. I like it. I am interested in anything with a motor so like I like threads like this. I drive 150-200 miles a day and I get to see a lot of stuff. I have a buddy with several modified HHRs and as a joke I send him picture of ridiculous ones that I come across and poke fun that these people are his type of people. I know they are different cars but also lump in random pics of PT Cruisers to him because I count the people who like those cars as probably liking HHRs too. Lol
