In all seriousness, I know I may not agree or even get along with some members on here. For what it is worth though, that doesn't mean I wouldn't be one of the first that were there to help the same members. While we may not agree or even like the same things, y'all are like my neighbors. While I may not agree with you, I will fight life and limb to help you. Sometimes we all get a little ornery and say things that ruffles feathers. That's just the nature of the beast. Remember that at least the moderators allow us to speak our mind and clear the air. It could be worse... what's that aboot..eh?

My only post in the thread so far. And I agree with you sir. I can overlook most other things except ruining the finer things in life such as beef. I even mentioned it to my friend here and now he's even chapped about it.

I think what some people see as discontent is because we are NOT just a firearms forum. We're a diverse group with sections for EVERYTHING (sometimes that's scary) and exposes members to a much more wide variety of opinions than just that of just a "gun forum".

A lot of us are very tight and get together face to face quite often. If you find yourself offended all the time maybe try going to a get together so people can put a face to a name and see that you're a real person and not just some kid sitting in mom's basement banging away on a keyboard.

I read about half the OP scrolled a few post and realized I had nothing to add that hadn't been added and dont see a direction this forum is headed to begin with. 200 post later I wish it was a bacon recipe. I was wondering if any of yall eat pig brains. I do, brains and eggs are tasty. I grew up eating them and now get them fresh. Fresh is the best. Grandmaw ate squirrel brains, never had them before but might try it next season.
 
I first seek to understand, then to be understood. I enjoy listening to others points of view that are in disagreement with my own. It makes me research and think about the issues being discussed. Discussion about disagreeing points of view is healthy, or at least thats what my psychologist tells me!

Ok, sorry it took me so long to get in here with a post. I mean I got real world shit going on like yard work, making beer, pool time, finding collard sandwiches... you know, shit that matters...

How this can to be... well some dick weeds sold out the other place to some Cuncks and F.ed it up. Wanted to make it into some kind hipster Applebee's or something..

So I compared us a dive bar- a bit on the shady side, kind of place you might not take the wife and kids on Sunday afternoon, but great place to hang out after work. It is a bit rough, some of the folks look a bit odd, but you still like it. Some of the guy are pecker heads and not folks you like but heck, some of them feel the same about you! So just move down a bar stool or two... or just leave! I mean, this is not the place for everyone... some need a more Applebees type place. Really, grow a pair !!

Most of you jerk wads are not perfect like me. But I keep trying to teach you.

With a forum of this size things can get overlooked but like silver said there is the report button except on my stuff but use it if nothings done bitch about it,I guarantee it will get taken care of. Oh Silver one last thing as you was saying above about name calling what if said person is that type of person would it still be bad? I agree there is no such thing as turkey bacon all that could be turkey back is that flap of skin that covers the stuffing and no way is that bacon now you might grind up some turkey and mix in bacon grease to make it taste like bacon but its turkey burger flattened out thats all

you do know the only mushrooms worthy of going on a really good rare and i'm talking blue rare steak is mushrooms that grow up from a pile of cowchit. Those little skinny ones that wither away soon after the sun comes in contact with them, now those will make a rare steak seem like no other and will forever change your mind on mushrooms on steaks.... wait no those are the ones you dry and smoke shortly after with a good glass of fine whiskey... nevermind blue rare is the only way to go (side note for those who don't know of blue rare,this is when a steak is so rare it is not cool in the center it is cold still) any and all punctuation's for the green bird
 
All that talk of bacon...and even some maple discussion back on about page 2...got me thinkin' I need to try one of these this weekend!!

Since it is Friday...

I still say we need a thread that details the hows and whys of membership. I thought I started one a while ago, but it quickly satisfied @fieldgrade 's need for a train crash. Hmmm...
