What would have been even more hilarious, if that was a military bus they were on, have him call the driver as CinChief and order him/her to stand down and not drive another foot, to leave the bus, take the keys, and take the rest of the day off.

It irritates me that this trip was even on the table to begin with...the government has been shut down for weeks, people are going without pay (for better or worse), both sides are starting to look like indignant children who refuse to eat their green beans, and then BOOM...instead of sitting at the table and coming to a solution I think I'll take a long trip overseas on the tax payer dime to visit people who have nothing to do with the current crisis going on a home...

If we knew of all the wasteful spending that ALL of our politicians are doing during the shutdown, we would revolt!

Totally agree...I've been seeing run downs of the alcohol tabs on these flights recently.

I think the correct solution would have been to cancel the flight somewhere over the Atlantic. Anywho, just posting to get my 1000th post.

Pelosi may have some Trump cards to play with the Cohen hint of subornation of perjury. Trump hopefully has some good lawyers unless that story is a total lie itself. That is some serious business according to new AG Barr this week.

Some background, Karl Rove says the writer of this newspiece has a history of fantasy writing and has been fired a couple times for malfeasance
