Trump pulls funding for Nancy pelosi's military plane

Fox reports that Nancy was at the airport leaving town.

was just poking at ya bud

Hope you and her are doing awesome!

I didn't think you were being a smarty, and I didn't take it as snarky. I didn't see that it was posted already, and when I received it I thought, "oh good girl; this is going on the forum!" I was mostly bragging proudly--the lady is getting closer and closer to having her own bugout bag :D:D:D

Last I heard she was cancelling due to security issues, which she blamed on Trump. But, security officials said if she flies commercial, the plane will be easily identified and targeted.

Pelosi may have some Trump cards to play with the Cohen hint of subornation of perjury. Trump hopefully has some good lawyers unless that story is a total lie itself. That is some serious business according to new AG Barr this week.

Some background, Karl Rove says the writer of this newspiece has a history of fantasy writing and has been fired a couple times for malfeasance

It's too bad the CIA can't leak recordings from the BuzzFeed phones when the lies were being conjured up; it would be highly amusing to see a few dozen members of the media and Congress charged with sedition.

Trump could always call his buddy Putin and arrange an accidental missile launch.

That story really blew up in their faces, and all the cable "news" stations that reported it. I'm thinking some former lawyer, since fired for leaking fbi propaganda, Mueller lawyer leaked his own story he wanted out there.

Last night on Hannity they announced Trump was having a major announcement Saturday afternoon about the boarder wall and the government shutdown. So who thinks this goes down as national crisis and he signs the order for wall funding?

If he does that, does that mean shutdown over?

I think yes if Trump declares state of emergency, he will get the funds needed for border security by reallocating funds from other sources and can sign off on funding the portion of the government that is shutdown. But, and a big but, there will be a lawsuit and a judge ready to issue an injunction against Trump’s state of emergency as soon as he is done with his announcement.

I actually think Trump is going to list his negotiation position with some of the goodies that the democrats want like some sort of a DACA deal and start campaigning against their refusal to negotiate.

I hope so as well. Let the daca kids know that our president is trying to get help them.

DACA and gun control for the Wall, would be my guess.

But wouldnt that go against what he's said before? I thought he was against DACA and the Dreamers etc

Pretty sure he made the offer of a path way to citizenship for 1-3 million people last year.
I must have missed that, overlooked it, apologies.

Yes, Trump did offer a solution for DACA last year but he insisted that the congress address chain migration, anchor babies and visa lottery in the deal for DACA solution in exchange for 25 billion for border security. Surprise, both republicans and democrats didn’t go for that deal.

Yep that is basically a complete immigration over haul.

Rhetorical question:

If any federal judge can issue an injunction against a declared State of Emergency, what exactly is the point of a State of Emergency?

True

recent actions have shown us how many Trump executive orders have been stopped in their tracks by judges.

"blew up in their faces" ?

The media got what they wanted, which was to imprint the idea of "Trump=bad" on people's minds. The media breathlessly reported a pack of lies nonstop for a day and now have largely gone silent about the rebuttal. Take CNN as an example: CNN's front page is still touting the BuzzFeed allegations in an audio clip from yesterday (before Mueller's rebuttal), while rebuttal coverage is buried down on the Politics page between articles about Jerome Corsi and the 2020 census.

Like a brat having a melt down in the toy aisle in Wal-Wart because mommy won't buy him a toy.

Maybe you could explain to us what the last couple republicans did besides roll over and get walked on by Dems. I didn’t vote for Trump because he was nice or a statesmen. They get run all over by the media and Dems. I voted for Trump because he wasn’t going to take any of their crap and give as good as he got. He’s not getting run over and pushed around. And that’s the point.

Last I knew the federal court was divided into circuits (more like circus) and even these are broken up into districts they were only bonding over their little fiefdoms. This idea that they have total jurisdiction over the entire country seems to be a new development that was quietly accepted. They need to be told to go piss off if they think they have that power. Let em try to enforce it.

Or maybe he’s placing the pain of this shutdown squarely where it deserves to go. On the politicians causing it. He canceled his trip and a US delegation trip as well.

Never mind what Americans want. Do you really think that Trump gives a damn about what the majority want? He is having a narcissist tantrum which is how he has acted all his life.

By a 21-point margin — 57 percent to 36 percent — Americans think the president should compromise on the wall to avoid a government shutdown, rather than stand firm. https://www.npr.org/2018/12/11/6753...promise-on-border-wall-amid-possible-shutdown

Plus it is a waste of money because it will not stop the majority of illegals from entering, nor most of the illegal drugs. Fix some damn bridges or water systems instead, something that will actually benefit Americans.

A poll? Really? Polls tell exactly that the pollster wants them to tell. There was a poll that said Hillary had the presidential election in the bag.

This and how big of a size did they collect? What’s their demographic? A poll by CNN of 10,000 people (hell call it 100,000, most that I see are 1,000-4,000ish) shows 70% of “all Americans” hate Trump. Who the hell did they ask? Online viewers of their page? Undercover in various diners in NYC? In rural Kentucky?

So even if an online poll on CNN 30% of their viewership don’t hate Trump. What about the millions of other Americans who don’t view that site so didn’t give an opinion:rolleyes:

The opinions skew in so many ways especially with opinion related polls that it’s impossible to get an accurate representation. CNN PBS FOX or anyone else for that matter. Depending on the subject anyone will know the outcome of the poll ;)

Just looked. The above NPR/PBS poll was of a whopping 1075 adults.... gee wonder who the askedo_O

Those were already fixed as they were shovel ready...close to a trillion spent, remember?

Poll question: we all agree that we need border security but there are 800,000 employees that will miss a 2nd paycheck on Tuesday; should president Trump compromise on the wall to open the government?

How about this question: Trump is asking for 0.1% of the budget to erect a wall that will help in controlling drugs and bad people coming across the open borders; should the democrats compromise on the wall to open the government?

I listen to NPR, you cant be serious. NPR? LMAO. And the loaded question they asked? Unbelievable.

News flash, Trump is the ONLY one offering to compromise. He’s offered to meet and been refused. He’s offered to compromise and been refused. What has Nancy offered other than that stupid $1 comment? Yes he’s standing firm. But he’s not the one refusing to compromise. I hope he shoves this down the Dems throat.

That fact that the public seems to think the Trump is unwilling to compromise shows just how in bed the media is with the left in this country and just how far they are willing to misslead and lie to get what they want. Maybe try changing the station occasionally. NPR is just as, or more biased, that any other station out there. There is nothing special about their political reporting. Their news is a leftist echo chamber.

You are obviously clueless on all the problems associated with illegal immigration, have no clue about the success of walls and barriers throughout history and really dislike President Trump. Maybe it's the phony NPR polls or maybe it's because Trump can be a dick. Either way, you may want to spend some time reading up on things. Specifically the highway and infrastructure spending of the last 3 Presidents and what happened to all that money. We should have bridges lined with silver and gold. Or you can keep reading NPR, AKA Pravda, propaganda and we can just carry on with the staus quo destruction of the USA and the importation of the worst of other cultures. Good luck with that.

Truth bomb. Thank you.

IMO Trump offered too much. Now he should say FU and ram rod everything he can as quickly as he can. There is no compromise with Marxist criminals and if you try it is always one sided and bad for the country. Compromise is way overrated. Time for Trump to behave exactly as he has been accused of. Build the damn wall, lay some barb wire, erect some more fences and re-deploy some military assets to the border. Pull them from Korea or whatever hel hole desert they are in. Heck, pull Federal LEO's from cushy desk jobs and backwater cities and put theor ass's on the border.

There is no compromise. One side is going to win and one is going to lose.

The funny thing is (well not really) is that I had linked to a poll showing that the majority wanted a wall, you all would be singing the praises of polls.

But a poll that disagrees with you desires........... well that is self evident.

But beyond what polls say, or you want.... the wall is a waste of billions, for it will do little to stop people or drugs.

Ask Israel how effective their wall has been
