Nice. I have a bottle of 5 year and a bottle of pineapple on the shelf. Love them both. Adding a healthy pour of the pineapple rum to a pineapple upside down cake is a game changer.

My nest door neighbor came over with his bottle of Old Forester 1924 to sample and that was a good reason to open the Heaven's Door Homesick Blues. The OF suprised me for only being 100 proof but it was barreled for 10 years. The HD was 122+ proof and but only aged for 7 years. The OF was good and the HD at first was a little disappointing. After the 2nd or 3rd sip it started to shine. Would I buy the OF again, not really but would buy the HD again.

Finished off the last 2 pours of a Buffalo Trace and then my next door neighbor came over. He is always bring good pours over to try so I opened up a bottle of Rock Hill Farms. Was going to open this when my kids are at the lake but what the hell. The is still a bunch left.

Having some Evan Williams Bottled-in-Bond that I got about four years ago. A little overly vanilla/sweet on the first sip for my taste, but mellows out nicely with some ice cubes. Not bad at all for cheap bourbon.
My go to mixer. Hard to beat for under $20.

hard to find the Blackberry flavor.
found some in Harris-Teeter yesterday.

Love it! I'm pasting this song thinking you'll get a kick out of why he named that boat Getting Right. I named several but wasn't as creative as you guys.lol
It's about drinking so I don't think it's to off base;)

Enjoying some rum that was gifted to me. My friends visited a distillery in Brunswick, GA ??????? It is quietly good and the cigar blinds right in. Erin GO Braugh. Crazy in Savannah today. Over 400,000 people in town this weekend. 20240316_200330.jpg

Old Smoky Popcorn Sutton after a quick trip to Gatlinburg. It’s pretty good, sweet, better than their Ownsby Bourbon from what I can remember.

@KnotRight I’m told to pass along thanks for the recommendation here for this rum and was instructed to buy more.

I have never seen any local. (Plantation rum yes, XO no) Found this bottle in Florid

@DaveInCLT I found that to be about the best rum for the $$$$ but not a cheap rum. If you have something like a yeti cup, put a big block of ice in it and pour to when the top if the ice os covered. Repeat until the ice is gone. GREAT drink on a very hot day.. Next would be the Plantation 5YO drank the same way.

Picked this up on sale for $12. I'm not a Canadian blended person but for the $ it mixed well with some Dr Pepper...it has a bit to much caramel for sprite/ 7up to me.
