Impulse buy alert!
I've been having fun trying to learn to weld and thought I'd get me my own setup. I searched a few threads here and went to the Welding Supplies From IOC website and bought a few things.
I got the Lincoln Power MIG 210 MP for my welder. I'll keep my little harbor freight flux core set up for gasless and go MIG on the 210 MP. I was borrowing my boss's Miller multimatic welder but didn't feel comfortable changing anything on it. His assist tank wasn't on site and wasn't going to get there anytime soon and I didn't want to pull his spool of wire and put in the flux core stuff that I have, so I was stuck using it as a stick welder.
I also ordered a TD Cutmaster 40 plasma cutter. I've been using the 1000w co2 laser at work for my pieces but it takes a lot of time to set up the cut files/drawings/gcode/materials with it. I'll be able to cut down our large "drops" stack of sheet steel into more usable pieces and finally get rid of some of that scrap.
