That is my interpretation.I interpret that my NCCHP makes my concealed handgun "authorized".
Today was the first time I’ve seen that sign, but I’ve driven past it many times after breakfast at the Red Barn.
Plus in the same town, there is this sign on the front door of the liquor store. “NO Firearms”
Surprising since I’ve never known any other state ABC board store to be posted. But this is one is co-owned with the town.

There’s one in Fuquay, not posted and the two I frequented in Cary were not posted, shockingly, but I moved from there three years ago.Every ABC store here is posted.
Here as well. I don’t think I’ve ever been in one that’s not postedEvery ABC store here is posted.
Sorry can not read
I do believe so. State licenses each County board and that entity decides how many, locations, etc.Are the state ABC board stores run county by county?
I’m with you there bud, I never learnt either.
Now, typing ! I can type the crap outa stuff..
Thanks. My attitude is, like a couple of folks above, I can’t read, but I’m never clear on when I’m just infracting, or committing felonies (educational property, government buildings, etc, etc.)I do believe so. State licenses each County board and that entity decides how many, locations, etc.
As far as the original question goes...screw that sign. The State Legislature made statewide firearm uniformity their domain. Then the legislature went on to say where cities and counties could post signage...and absent very specific criteria, recreational areas was not one of them.
Just remember that the consequences aren’t always the same. Some are infractions, some are felonies. Not saying what you should or shouldn’t do, but just be sure you’ve considered the risk/rewards tradeoff. If they don’t have metal detectors I could care less what their sign says

I’m sorry, I had to look for it, therefore by definition it is not a conspicuous posting.Plus in the same town, there is this sign on the front door of the liquor store. “NO Firearms”
Even some triple negatives! Good grief.Looks like an idiot wrote the sign. It’s either very poorly written or full of double negatives, depending on how you read it. Either way, none of the things on that sign are prohibited.
I actually told my doctor this when he said your like 10 pounds heavier than last time is everything ok?
Winston-Salem tried to challenge this a few ways for greenways and maybe a few parks for various reasons, school usage and "athletic facilities" come to mind all fell.I do believe so. State licenses each County board and that entity decides how many, locations, etc.

I think you meant to say ' I don't think they aren't that dumb ' ;-)Those double-negatives are tricky. I want to say Angier gov folks did that on purpose, but I don’t think they’re that smart.
The item right above the “No Firearms” say “No Cellphones” … bet they do not enforce that one!Today was the first time I’ve seen that sign, but I’ve driven past it many times after breakfast at the Red Barn.

Until assimilated, offense to transplants.By the way, the is the next small farming town one county over from Raleigh that’s in the process of being over run by transplants.
No offense to transplants.
I never ask anywhere I go and pay no attention to the signage unless it’s a government building.I was in a newly opened ABC store. I asked whether they had issues with firearms. Their answer, “Our no firearms decal hasn’t arrived yet”.
