STEER CLEAR OF OLD CARS.
We got stuff in like this at the body shop on occasion and have found many things that need to be fixed. This will be a HUGE money pit.
I know someone likely has a lot of money in the car, but it probably isn't worth much north of $7500. I wouldn't pay that for it. Be wary.
Lol, that's the number I'm at BEFORE I see the car
You absolutely don't want to offend them, but a lot of this type of stuff will likely have to be gone through with a fine tooth comb to identify all the items that need to be reworked or replaced.
Somewhere in the house is a build list for this project, and maybe invoices.
Is it a custom frame or some sort of donor car?
Check front and rear suspension... see if it is something common to old 90s kit cars (like Mustang II or Chevy S10... VW etc). Doesn't look "high-end" enough to have Corvette components but plenty of kit cars back then used C4 stuff.
Could be a lot of fun for the right price assuming it's somewhat decent components.
I'd LOVE to have a '32 convertible like that, in a different color!
If you don't do anything with it, please PM me info.
Are you sayingt this is queer? I got one like it.A few things look right a few things look customized. The paint looks downright queer. Perfect for the wife I guess. Is it fiberglass or sheet metal.
