Have a nice collection of .22s semi-auto. modern gun - Ruger Mk4 Hunter (tuned, w/Volquartsen trigger) sometimes has jam (mostly problem to fit). Never had any problem with old guns (Colt Woodsman, Browning). Nor with P226 (convertible Kit). in some reviews on YTube, guys said it is normal for modern semi-auto. same problems have with 10/22. what is your experience ?

Taurus TX22 has never failed to fire for me yet no matter what ammo I'm using. Ruger Mark IV 22/45 (favorite) has been 99%. I could also mention the S&W M&P 15-22 pistol...

None are as fancy as a Woodsman or Hunter but they do go bang.

Ruger 22/45, Ruger MK III, and Glock 44. @SergeToll remember most .22 semi autos are finicky when it comes to ammo. Try a few different brands. Most likely youā€™ll find one that your MK IV likes and runs without issue.

Man, all these .22s with 100% function/no malfunctions/never jam and work with every ammo....

I've just been living wrong I guess. I get weak loads, duds, extraction failures, feed failures, etc in all of my 22s at one point or another. Had a FTF just this morning in fact.

You shoot winchester in any color box and the most reliable 22 ever built will have duds and feed failures. Remington Hornets are not much better.

I have shot a bunch of 22 pistols and bought a S&W Victory. Checked every box from fiber sight to ease to clean.

Just mentioned the ones I have. Didnā€™t say they were 100%. Anyone who thinks their .22 lr is 100% reliable, is either delusional or havenā€™t found the wrong ammo yet šŸ˜

Got a High Standard Dura-Matic from my Dad. I used to shoot that thing all the time, and loved it. Since heā€™s passed, Iā€™ve put it in the safe only to take it out occasionally.
was a great gun. not suggested for high velocity though. and I wish my son will care about my guns after...

I shoot a few different Rugers from the original 1952 standard my grandpa gave me, a a MK 2 govt target , a Mark 2 Olympic , and a couple of MK3 22/45s
I do like the Rugers - easy to clean and work on - very accurate
I also owned the following that I have traded away for one reason or another
Colt Woodsman - only reason I didnā€™t keep this is a lack or parts and mags.
Beretta NEOS - way better than expected - would buy another in a heartbeat if I could find the little drop in carbine kit
Browning Buckmark

Didn't think I replied to yours directly, just saying there are a lot of claims of 100% just in this thread alone.

The two aforementioned pistols have run nearly flawlessly. However, I also buy decent ammo. Not to say I've not had issues with 22's. I've had plenty.
