what semi-auto handgun in .22LR do you use? like?

Older Browning buckmark with bull bbl. Tac driver with T22 ammo which I have a stash of. A long time ago I had a ruger mk 2 bull bbl. Never liked it and it was not accurate. Buckmark digests whatever I feed it. Did have a problem when new with the Mississippi chitlin wood grips that it came with. Sent the gun back to Ogden and they whitled on the grips and refinished and sealed them which had not been done properly to begin with and they were too cheap to use walnut. I need to get that gun out to the range. Too many projects right now.

Anyone one have an F&N yet? I've been curious about that and the new Sig 22. leaning toward the F&N if not both... :)

I’ve got a 502 and have put 2-3000 rounds through it so far. It’s been very reliable, both suppressed and unsuppressed.
The only hiccups I’ve had are these:
- I did have to add a drop of locktite to keep the RDS tight.
- when using the slide release on a full mag it doesn’t go fully into battery 40% of the time. Light tap on the slide is all it needs.
- the baseplates on the mags can come off when dropped on concrete. A little tape fixes this issue.

I really like this pistol and run it quite a bit. So far it’s my favorite 22 pistol. I have a SR22 for my younger boys, but adults all enjoy the 502 more than the SR22. It’s got a lot of features for the price, and it runs well dirty (until it gets way too dirty).

We’ve got 3, the wife’s Walther PK22, a tricked out MkII that the wife “adopted” & my Buckmark.

PK22 is a decent plinker & perfect for kid & lady sized hands. It would bobble on cheap American Eagle, but ran fine on any CCI or Federal bull pack we ran through it. Never shot with a can, so can’t comment on that.

MkII has a 4 1/2” PacLite upper, along with some trigger work & possibly some VQ trigger parts. Maybe the PO remembers? Sweet gun. Accurate, reliable & that trigger. Has never choked on us.

Buckmark was a 4” bull barrel that I put a threaded 5 1/2” TacSol barrel on & use as a suppressor host. More technically accurate than the Ruger, but I shot the Ruger much better in matches. Federal AutoMatch would gum it up & start failing to extract after 50 rounds or so. I blame the bullet lube. Haven’t torture tested it with the can, but it hasn’t choked at the range & the wife absolutely loves shooting that thing. In fact, she’s bugging me about threading the MkII or getting a threaded upper for it.

I prefer a 1911 grip & control placement & would like one of the threaded 22/45s, preferably one without all the race gun looking barrel shroud.

Only one I have a pic of on the phone.

They just had one at my LGS and I passed it up.... That is the first one I have seen. I'm still not sure about my decision.....

Beretta Neos U22. Really a fun shooter.
Pretty unique design. Looks like a space blaster.

I've had two Ruger SR-22s. One of them worked well and the other had a malfunction every other magazine. And my buddy has a TX-22 that performed equally as well as my first SR-22. When I say "performed well" I mean maybe 1 malfunction every 150 rounds. Mind you all of this was with reputable ammo: CCI Mini-Mags.

I've become discouraged from finding an ultra-reliable .22 handgun. From my personal experiences and everything I've read online - finding a truly flawless .22 seems to be like winning the lottery. Or maybe shooting 25c a round match ammo would be the answer, but then I feel like it defeats one of the main benefits of shooting .22

The Beretta Neos would have at least one fail every mag when I first got it. A trip back to the factory and it works great. It will have a fail every now and then but I think it's just the nature of 22s. Beretta has great customer service. It was gone exactly one week including one weekend and shipping time.

Anyone here have exp with the Walther P22QD? LGS has a used one, friend let me use his once a few years ago and remember loving it, fits great in the hand and Walther makes good looking pistols to me. Barrel can also take a thread adapter. No need as I have a 22/45 MKIII and a RR, but still tempting.

I have a 1920s-vintage Colt Woodsman that is an absolute joy to shoot. In terms of shooting experience, probably my favorite among all the guns I own.

Have wanted to get my hands on a Ruger 22/45 or earlier model.
Have a 22/45 that I dearly love…great pistol and accurate to boot b

I love my G44. It's the only semi .22 pistol I have ever had but I still enjoy shooting it. Mine has been pretty reliable with the 18rd ProMag magazines also.
