What FireDude says, man up. Don't talk about crap like you are, if it comes to Zombie time both you and your girl will be zombie food. It would be hard getting land now, the county offices don't consider land transfers essential business right now and it will take months.
Make do with what you got now, chill out, when this crisis passes and things get normal again, look at getting land and stuff.

yeah, the idea is to not be zombie food lol. Now that we are in the midst of it, I see a slow, hanging to bleed dead situation. I either goes back to normal in a month, the world adjust supply chains, or things fade Slowly into pandemonium.

we just doing our homework, driving out to properties checking out the state, etc etc. getting a feel for the various rural markets now so we know what that “good buy” is when we see it.

checking out investment properties as well as primary home/neighborhood options too since driving around about only thing to do.

I’m all squared away at the moment. At this point I now have a plan A, B and C if things escalate before ideal strategy.

Whatever Lockdown looks like... get used to it. Without question, it will happen again. Now that they know just what they can get away with, Everyone In Charge of Anything will do it anytime something similar occurs. First it was educational facilities. Now it's the entyre country.
