Sounds tasty! Got a recipe/loose guidelines?

She uses Vegetable stock, shitake, portabello, porchini, mushrooms cut up into small pieces, cream, milk, onions, red wine, chopped up tomato's, garlic spice and pepper. Sauteed until mushrooms are well cooked. I wish I could give you specific amounts but she's been doing it for so long she just kind of wings it. She makes a decent size batch and freezes the rest. You might want to add a little salt. My Doctor has me off of salt so we add very little to our food. The salt in the stock is enough for me.

I know y'all will think I'm bragging but, yesterday the wife and I stopped at Wendy's. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and she had a small chili. Sorry, no pictures.
 
Beautiful! Tonight is clean out the refrigerator night and prepping the brisket for St. Patty's day.

Brining my own this year. I'll let y'all know how it turns out next week.
I have corned a few beefs over the years; they always taste better than store-bought! I bet you'll be very happy with it & I'm looking forward to the post-action highlights.

Absolutely. HEB is on the list of things I will miss about Texas when we have to move.
Last year when I was in TX I had the BBQ beans and the Charro beans from HEB and they were just so dang good, I shipped some back here. LOL I liked the Charro beans the best and they're gone now. I still have 2 cans of the BBQ beans left. I'm going back to TX next month and I may have to mail myself another CARE package.

still planning chicken soup and corned beef brine for tomorrow. Can't help being a couple of days ahead.
 
You guessed it: Chicken Windini!

Version CW2K, lightly seasoned with coriander, s&p, garlic, and thyme, seared then braised in vermouth & lemon. Mediteranean salad and I found some tater tots in the freezer.
