Both of those look great!
Chips Ahoy
'Nother long day...
Cheese & crackers, couple handfuls of dry roast peanuts.
My six year old little girl wanted steak, so Daddy grilled steak.
Filet from a local butcher, rare.
Mashed sweet potatoes.
Corn on the cob.
French style green beans in butter with shallots.
Both she and my two year old son eat their steaks the same way.
EDIT:. It was my first time making mashed sweet potatoes. They were good, but could be better. Any of you guys have a great recipe for some, hook me up.
My wife just mixes in butter and brown sugar to taste. I like to slice them, run with a little olive oil, season and throw them on the grill. I'll usually season with whatever I have close by since I usually have about 20 kinds lying around, but cinnamon and nutmeg based blends are good on sweet potatoes.
Back in Minnesota. Thing had to weigh 5#

I put a bit of chili powder and paprika as well.Yeah, I did a little milk and some cinnamon/sugar. I never liked the damned things until I was about 35 or so.
I'll have to try that next time.
The grill is just about right for some chicken wangs.
