I dont know why you are taking some guy sharing his opinion so personally.
Personally? Haha sure buddy. Great "argument".
Like many things there are levels to this, I dont really consider guys who shoot paper targets in a controlled environment subject matter experts. I never said you had to be John Wick to own a firearm. I would just like to do away with the ignorance of people who do not respect the power they have in their hands when they pick up a gun and treat it like a toy.
Yes, there are levels. Max Michel is the very TOP level, and he shoots for the Army. You don't consider Max Michel a "subject matter expert" because you don't even know who he is, and likely have never shot a match, and are likely completely clueless as to what good shooting actually is.
Your comment about shooting paper exposes your ignorance, as
everybody, including ARMY/LEO/SEAL/SF
all practice shooting on the same thing Max Michel does: paper and steel targets on a range (one way). There is literally nobody who trains by shooting ACTUAL PEOPLE, and nobody trains with ACTUAL BULLETS being shot at them.
I guess all the SF guys that shoot 3gun and USPSA (there are literally packs of them locally as we live next to Bragg) are dummies and they need to come to you to get to that
next level. Derp.
They shoot competition to get to the next level.
The point I was trying to make, that you
seem to have missed: yes there are levels to this stuff and you are likely pretty close to the bottom level. Like most of us. Nobody said anything about John Wick (except you), a ridiculous comic book character from a movie.
Just a discussion, don't take it personal.
