Details! Finally got my 9mm bolt action build back from the smith!
Spooky quiet with a much more effective terminal ballistic value than 22lr.

You are 100% correct regarding a2/a3! I’ve left the A2 and can on mine the last few trips out.Got the SP5 out, have been putting it to work lately, looking at about 2000 rounds down so far. Love the A3 stock for the aesthetic, but the A2 is still the best for shooting.

The 22tcm is a shortened 5.56 cartridge. It is longer than a 9mm cartridge.Since the 22tcm cartridge uses a necked down 9mm case there were no modifications necessary to the bolt face, extractor, or magazine. Relatively simple conversion
I think he may have been thinking about the 22TCM9R conversion for Glocks. I have it, fun to shoot. Still based on the 5.56.The 22tcm is a shortened 5.56 cartridge. It is longer than a 9mm cartridge.
Yes, yes I did. Met @Dale Gribble at PHA first thing this morning. I’ll let him share his thoughts if he wants to.
Gladly👍
First off, my thanks to @BigWaylon for the intro to suppressors. He was kind enough to let me run some of his rigs in .22, 9mm and 5.56.
This was my first experience being on the trigger of a suppressed weapon…I was convinced after the first shot and he could probably tell by the grin on my face. I shot one of his 10.5 rigs in 5.56, then, shot my 10.3 (unsuppresssed)…night and day difference. I fully understand the beauty of suppressors now and suffice to say, it’s on my “must do” list.
To say it was “fun” and “enjoyable” would be quite the understatement.
Once again, thanks @BigWaylon for the experience and info…it was definitely the highlight of my day👍
My unit had a personal weapon shoot on Camp Lejeune today. It was a great time. All of the targets were reactive and we also had movers as well, roughly 200-225m away, and I was picking them off quite easily. The farthest targets were about 1000m and I could reach out to roughly 300-350ish (the closest double targets in the last photo) with my MK18.

The guy with the tan AR10 had a $3500 scope and I was smoking his ass on shooting the movers and I didn't have a bipod either like him. I was hyped. I'd estimate my hits were about 80-85% of the time. And those movers were moving.“tHe mK18 AiN’t nO GoOD pAsT FifTy yArDs!!!!!”
lol
WHAT??? No machine guns??? LOL
