The "Did you shoot your NFA items today?" thread...

Build is based on the Armscor TCM22 rifle, with a 9mm AR barrel machined to fit the receiver.

Since the 22tcm cartridge uses a necked down 9mm case there were no modifications necessary to the bolt face, extractor, or magazine. Relatively simple conversion

Yes. Had to zero my 12.5” ARs today and figure, while I was at it, they could wear the Nomad30 and Razor762 ( both with 5.56 end caps). Planned to also shoot my Banshee 300 with R9 but my brain dead self left the mags at home

My MAX-10/15 showed up yesterday afternoon:

I had it out on the range today. It ran perfectly and man is it a beast. I attracted the attention of two guys in the bay next door and therefore they got to try it too. Definitely a good purchase decision but probably not good for my ammo budget.

I’m going to swap the barrel out for a 16” and basically turn it into a light machine gun. I am probably also going to switch to an adjustable LOP stock of some kind. I want to keep it as a folder too, so I’m unsure what approach I am going to take.

Unfortunately the 9mm AR pictured is a SBR and not a Colt 635.

FINALLY took my nomad out. Threw an H3 in it and she ran great. 200 yard shots were a breeze.

I'm standing in line for some Maxie B's cake. And I'm thinking why the f do I smell gunsmoke. Wife sniffs my shirt nope. Then my face ITS ON YOUR MUSTACHE.

she's disgusted and i'm in love.

Shot some. Sighted (or at least attempted) in eight firearms. One non-NFA one snuck in there.

1. 8.5” 300BLK AR pistol w/ Form 1 can
2. 10” 300BLK SBR w/ Form 1 can
3. PS90 SBR w/ Turbo K
4. 10.5” 12.7x42 SBR
5. 7.5” 5.56 AR pistol
6. 10.5” 5.56 SBR w/ Saker 556
7. 12” 5.56 SBR w/ Saker 762
8. 16” 5.56 AR w/ Omega 30

Yes, yes I did. Met @Dale Gribble at PHA first thing this morning. I’ll let him share his thoughts if he wants to.

Started like this:

I got everything laid out before he arrived:

First thing I wanted to do was shoot my HD SBR. Don’t do it often enough, but occasionally I like to take it and pull the trigger without doing anything other than disengaging the safety. Gives you the warm fuzzy it’ll do what it needs to when something goes bump in the night.

Anyway, first shot at 100’, which is where I sighted it in, hit the paster dot at the top left of the red. Two more in the red after that from a closer distance. (It was a leftover target in my truck, so the three smaller holes 9/red/9 are from the last trip)

Also got the 5.5” AR-45, 4” AR-9, 4.5” 15-22 and the 15-22 pistol (barrel is probably 7.5-7.75”) mostly sighted in with their new 1.5X prism sights.

Also in the pic and shot a little:
16” 5.56
10.5” 5.56
RAR 22LR
M&P 22

Gladly👍

First off, my thanks to @BigWaylon for the intro to suppressors. He was kind enough to let me run some of his rigs in .22, 9mm and 5.56.

This was my first experience being on the trigger of a suppressed weapon…I was convinced after the first shot and he could probably tell by the grin on my face. I shot one of his 10.5 rigs in 5.56, then, shot my 10.3 (unsuppresssed)…night and day difference. I fully understand the beauty of suppressors now and suffice to say, it’s on my “must do” list.

To say it was “fun” and “enjoyable” would be quite the understatement.

Once again, thanks @BigWaylon for the experience and info…it was definitely the highlight of my day👍

Not mine. But it was fun. Was shooting high left with this ammo.

My unit had a personal weapon shoot on Camp Lejeune today. It was a great time. All of the targets were reactive and we also had movers as well, roughly 200-225m away, and I was picking them off quite easily. The farthest targets were about 1000m and I could reach out to roughly 300-350ish (the closest double targets in the last photo) with my MK18.

I went out with a CFF friend today and we shot MAC M10/9, M10/45, and M11/380 SMGs, a Burgess SW76 Stemple Tube 9mm SMG, a BRP Stemple Tube 9mm SMG, a STEN Mk. II, a Thompson M1 SMG, and a M2 Carbine. It was huge fun. It has been too long since I just blasted away at steel.

At Battery Oaks Saturday and ran my KelTec P50 with my Sparrow and my Ruger PC9 with the Gemtech 45.

Went to a sub-machinegun match in Ohio over the weekend. Here is my oldest son shooting a STEN Mk. II and a MAC M10/45 and a friend shooting the M11/380 with the Lage MAX-31k 9mm upper and a Suomi drum:
