New Ruger 9mm carbine.....

yup...I just wandered onto their site looking for scope rings and saw this. Can swap in a Glock mag well...great feature.

Indeed. I noticed that. I have three SR series guns though and a metric crap ton of SR mags.

Being able to use Glock mags though is a great feature.

I prefer the look of the old mod stock but I've wanted one of these since I sold the PC40 I had like a dumbass.

Asking for a friend. Should he sell his Kel-tec sub2k for this?

I never had a functional problem with the couple Sub2Ks I owned. EXCEPT....as a lefty, the blowback put a ton of gas and particles in my face. And the stock, for what it was, was horrible.

I really really dig the takedown aspect of this Ruger and the fact that it has a "normal" stock. Great platform for the kids, plinking and *gasp* PCC comps.

looks like the older PC9. what's the big difference? The magazines?

I want a Marlin camp 9 to go w my 3rd gen pistols.

I've had a couple Camps, even a pristine .45, this Ruger definitely reminds me of that platform.

Using pistol ammo that I keep around and one of those silly Korean Glock drum mags might make this a fun toy.

Nice ... but 6.8 lbs ... it isnt heavy but it sure ain’t a lightweight.

The mags and the fact that the PC 9 was bloody awesome.

It seems like they corrected the major complaint about the original PC9 which was the heavy trigger. It was short and crisp, but it was about 9lbs. This one uses 10/22 components and is about 4lbs. from the factory. I bet that could be lightened with some Volquartsen parts, but honestly on a defensive gun I'd probably leave it as is if it is as advertised.

Then they made it threaded, take down, multimag compatible.....

Yeah I haven't wanted a gun this much in a while. May have to sell the girlfriend or something....

How much is Ruger gonna take out of my wallet?

Ok, thanks. It will go well with my Sub2k. Probably be $450ish after the newness wears off.

As opposed to the keltec sub 2k ornthe high point 995? Lol
Indeed. Why are all the newish ppc so fugly unless it's an AR platform.... Rugers previous pcc's especially the 10/44! and Marlin camps, etc. now those are good looking rifles.

Besides lemme have my reasons to not sell a kidney to own one of these:p

I always had a boner for one of the old model PCC’s that Ruger made. That will probably be my next gun purchase
