Elmore Leonard is an amazing author. His books are gold.
Yes, I've gone all this time never reading his books. I thought he just did Westerns. Ill take a look at his books and be reading them for sure.

Really excited about this, but it's a damn shame they didn't bring back Nick Searcy.
And I agree, the gunslinger with the 'stache and that hat was the creepiest character I've ever seen in a movie. He deserved an award.
This was the teaser I saw. This version now has the actual date, like the poster shown above.
Do you have FX? Pretty sure it’s airing there as well. That’s how I’ll probably watch it.Dangit, I hain't got the hooloos........
I cut the cord years ago , and have Netflix and Prime - anyway to watch or stream the original ?
Haven’t seen that advertisement. Although I don’t have FX.Are they doing a marathon of the previous seasons?
I didn't see anything like that. I'm watching through iTunes. Is it they way they filmed it or my tv that keeps kinda glitching during a few scenes.
I didn't think it was filmed that way. It was kind of like watching max headroom in a few scenes.I didn't see anything like that. I'm watching through iTunes.
Yeah that casting was a equal opportunity thing. Carolyn Wilder is white and attractive in the book. I guess someone could say “well this isn’t the book.”I didn't think it was filmed that way. It was kind of like watching max headroom in a few scenes.
It started to feel a little more like Justified towards the end of the second episode. I just don't believe the whole oh she's making eyes at you with the defense attorney. Raylan had both Ava and Naomi I'm just not believing the defense attorney. Maybe just poor casting.
I mean I can understand casting her as a black female. But dang could she not have been more attractive. The entire show was riddled with wokeness. Bad white Detroit cops, bad black judge I mean stay with what got you there a little more. Except for the courtroom scene (which was needed to intertwine Raylan into the story), the judge was 100% per the book. Wildly outspoken and pissed everyone off. That was the mystery of why he was killed. It took them a while to unravel the totally random connection between him and the Oklahoma Wildman.I mean I can understand casting her as a black female. Watching it was painful. I've not watched anything with commercials in a couple of years. I'm not certain if I'll watch the remaining episodes for that reason. 20+ minutes for each hour is just too much.

This is episode one stuff! Fair game!Spoiler Alert !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
We are watching Suits now, too. Commercials are for poor people. As much as I am looking forward to the new "Justified", it may be a hard watch as we are currently binge watching "Suits" with no commercials.

Do you remember in the original series when they had a road block in “Kentucky” that was clearly filmed in CA? Maybe there are some details they just don’t get…I mean seriously, who straps a deer to the trunk of their car, 30 miles outside of Detroit in what is clearly the summer so out of season.
