It's funny how different things suit different people differently. I hated the trigger on the 2.0 and wasn't happy until I switched it for an Apex trigger.
Mine also suffers from early lockup release making it shoot groups of 3 inches even at 7 yards. I wasn't aware that the 2.0 could have this issue until after I bought it and I could not get good groups with it and I'm a fairly decent shot. Upon investigation I found that the barrel is free (released from lock) when the slide moves as little as an 1/8th of an inch.
Looking on the internet I found a lot of people with this same issue and S&W doesn't seem to be keen on fixing it because all of the parts are within spec. The fault occurs when your barrel and slide are both on the far end of spec.
Apex makes a replacement barrel that fixes the issue and requires slight smithing to fit but it would be another $200 dropped on a gun I really don't like to begin with.
