Maybe it’s just me and my familiarity with the BPM over 8 years, but I outshot the Aero with an Aimpoint pro. I’m going to test it out again this weekend, as I didn’t put it through much of a test (a few groups). What qualities make BPM upper/lower better than Aero?

Accuracy aside, since I’m no expert, or even good, the BPM is as tight as they come as far as “play” between the upper/lower. There is none. You can’t see any light passing through them, the takedown pins are almost annoying tight. Maybe it’s my bias? Maybe it’s just awesome!
Don’t forget the 2 stage timney and HBAR the aero had that the Barnes doesn’t.You outshot an 18" aero sporting a magnified optic with the Barnes and a red dot?
Your 18" Aero or the Optic on it is broken.
What kind of groups do you typically get with each? I’veDon’t forget the 2 stage timney and HBAR the aero had that the Barnes doesn’t.
I actually think the 18x scope threw me off more than it helped. I’m not familiar with using them, really. At only 100 yards it seemed like I couldn’t keep it still for crap. It got in my head, for sure.
You ever feel more comfortable with a gun more so than another? Do you think that plays a factor in shooting capabilities?
what kind of groups do you get with each and how do they measure up? Ive never been one to sit down and get the most out of my rifles in terms of accuracy, certainly never measured them. You outshot an 18" aero sporting a magnified optic with the Barnes and a red dot?

Agree. I’ve only used 9x. The 18x at close range was a bit much.To answer last question: yes it certainly does.
And it certainly plays a factor.
I think next time you go out you should dial magnification back on the scope a bit. Maybe to 4-6X.
Based on current field reports, it should be around 7,000 meters.question for you 6.5G aficionados regarding iron sights (if you use them); what range do you have them sighted in at?
just curiousBased on current field reports, it should be around 7,000 meters.
