I first got this from my wife who is active on FB with wives of Atlanta LEO's... From what I understand, all precincts but one have walked off.

It's active in the Twitterverse....

Just got this email from an Atlanta police officer: "Atlanta police officers are refusing to answer the radio and walking off of the job. The county can go screw themselves. If you want a society without police we’ll give you one. Let it burn!"

BREAKING NEWS: Georgia police sources tell me only two police precincts are staffed in the entire city of Atlanta. Entire zones of officers are walking off the job. Zones 1,3,5 and 6 have left their posts. Zones walking off the job. #BlueLivesMatter

Breaking: Sources confirm Atlanta Police officers in zone 6 have walked out. Sources say they drove back to their precinct, turned in their keys and went home. Officers in zone 3 are allegedly doing the same.

My wife manage to retro-capture some comments by officers on a police specific web site before they were taken down. I'll see if they are worth posting and put them up.

I feel for the people of Atlanta. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near there tonight.

Anyone up for a bank heist?

This is a joke of course.
PM me.

This is a joke of course...
Act fast. The streets might become impassable shortly. I was told other jurisdictions are backing out of their cross jurisdiction agreements. I figure the National Guard is being activated as we speak.

Wonder how GA Governor Kemp feels? He controls the National Guard not the Mayor ... just wondering out loud.

They are talking about a black female with no shirt that they think is going to be violent in Zone 6 on the scanner right now

Dispatch is trying to get another officer on the radio now and is not getting a response

Have fun CNN.
Yeah, they should have the best coverage, without even leaving the office. Actually, they probably CAN'T leave the office. ;)

If I worked in ATL I'd seriously reconsider going to work tomorrow.

Still lots of denial of the magnitude of the walk off in the media, but they can't afford for it to get out or there will be riots and looting. Oh, wait...

Now they are all trying to get back to precinct to evacuate their personal vehicles as "protesters" approach precinct.
Supervisor and then dispatch just told them all if they have any personal property inside precinct to get it out ASAP.
If the APD is leaving the D-6 precinct office (a fairly small satellite station) that leaves a decent sized AFD station across the street open for whatever and those firemen and EMT’s exposed. If there is any rioting and burning it will be hard to be stopped by AFD Station 18 with D-6 abandoned.

If all this turns out to be true East ATL will be at the mercy of the hood rats which in that area includes a Bloods related gang.

Checked YouTube; the mayor has been busy giving interviews. Locally, she assured the city that a few cops off the job would not matter and Atlanta would get help from its neighbors (DENIED). Nationally, she was too busy talking to Anderson Cooper about how Trump's executive order was inadequate to address the police walkout in her city.

Somebody just came on after long silence and said verbatim "I need gas".

WTF? How is it POTUS's job to deal with her city's issues? Gah. I gotta shut up 'fore I get my blood pressure up.
