Bud Light is costing restaurants and bars millions

So in the end, what does it all matter now?
.
What?
*sideways dog look*

Aware of the obvious risk of being trolled I'm going for it anyway...

It matters because folks finally decided to fight back against the freaks and their never ending parade of perversions that define insanity, primarily focused on entrapping children and fomenting violence.
It matters because that fight took billions of dollars away from pathetic on-their-knees enablers, and continues to do so right now.
It matters because the only people that this boycott offends are leftists and since leftists cannot shut the hell up it outs them for what they are, exposing their true intentions.
Bud Light is crippled forever. FAFO. That's why it matters.
This isn't a Piano. It's not hard to understand...unless the results offend you.

"What does it all matter now" is intended to imply that this boycott had/has no meaning, no impact.
The hell it doesn't. It is far from being 'the end'. It's a phenomenal victory for those that took part. A coordinated action uniting millions of people for a single focused result, and it worked beyond wildest dreams. America is a beer country, and they took down the largest selling beer in the United States.
Let that sink in.

This kind of thing scares the absolute crap out of leftists and makes them curl up in a fetal position. The power, intensity, and swiftness of a coordinated conservative effort shocked the living hell out of them, and well beyond bud light itself while-we're-at-it, a complete rejection of everything they proclaim sacrosanct.

tl/dr; They got their ass kicked. You remember an ass-kicking.
That's why it matters.

"So in the end, what does it all matter now?"

in my opinion:
1. it is not the end.
2. now it matters to us, since we are posting about it.
3. it will live on in Business School courses about marketing mistakes.
Funny you mention. My assigned senior paper for business school in 1978 was a case study on the American brewing industry.

TL/DR version

PBR waxed their own ass trying to gain market share by lowering their price way back in the day. “Premium beer at popular prices"
A truly premium Milwaukee beer brand became cheapened overnight because they lowered their price to try and gain market share.

Bud Light did the same thing, by lowering their standards.

I know we make fun of Europeans as we are Americans; however, what the Farmers are doing in every country's capital is Old School America.

Now, we sit around and talk about WHAT we SHOULD do. And yes, that includes me as well.

Bud Light will be in Business Case Studies for a century or more. People have favorite beers... and for someone to give that up is a lot; however, IT IS NOT the same as actively protesting or standing strong against a issue that some push on our society.

Evil exists when good men do nothing.

The funny thing to me is that Bud Light hired the new VP who green-lighted this stunt all because they felt like the brand was "dying". Or at least that is what the VP said. If that was truly the case, it seems like they would pull the plug on it now that it is clear that those sales won't be bouncing back.

Move on to quality beer. Budwiser is refered as Pisswiser overseas.
It not even good for catching slugs, they do not like it.

A good beer is a joy to drink, however Budweiser was & is, a mass produced bottle of Cat piss.

Consider what that might mean, the brand dying. In the current state of affairs movies like Porky's, Revenge of the Nerds, and Blazing Saddles woudl never be made because they might offend the better part of the two youngest generations of consumers. The brand was built with the same 1980's mentality with babes and kegstands. They knew trying to bring the younger generation to our party wasn't going to work so they decided to bring in a spokesperson of their generation that they mistakenly thought would freshen things up. This proved to be an exceptionally narrow view that miscalculated, assuming the people who supported them would always be there. They thought that they can force inclusivitity on their parents and grandparents while paying no attention to who we are. They paid no attention to the red wave in Virginia that flipped the state back red over tranny stuff and other racist indoctrination in the schools. They paid no attention, assuming we'd just go along and be quiet. They forget we recognise the evils of communism in all it's forms, having grown up under the threat of it, and we will fight it until we're dust.

Bud Light failed because DEMOGRAPHICS.

Not because "folks finally decided to fight back against the freaks".

Make no mistake, there are plenty of markets out there in which "folks" aren't doing squat.

The difference here is Bud Light has a huge demographic of specific people to which they have spent DECADES of marketing building and monopolizing.

This particular demographic just happens to be largely populated by the type of people to whom this BS does not appeal at all.

If "folks" really were fed up with this, then other boycotts would be prominently prevalent and successful. But they're not.

In fact, this particular boycott is noteworthy because boycotts in general are historically rarely effective. They are momentary blips with little, if any, lasting effects.

since PBR was mentioned.....remember this one?
quote:
Then a series of business decisions, including a disastrous ad campaign, dubbed the “Drink Schlitz or I’ll kill you” campaign,
precipitated the downfall of America’s biggest beer brand. It became known as the “Schlitz mistake.”
