Commie Rifle Pics Thread

Welp. I collected the Grail of Grails on my list. Put an Izhmash TIGR on layaway a few months ago, found it in a listing out of a pawnshop in Colorado. Just picked it up today.

I’ve got a surplus set of Russian furniture to throw on it and need to get to work sourcing a Ruski cheekpad, bi-pod, and flash hider. I know there’s a guy around that does correct length SVD Barrels as well so that may come in the near future. For now I’m just going to admire it how it is.

I’m a happy, happy man.

Edit - Furniture swapped, pairs well with Krink

The Civilian legal Russian hunting rifle? I did not know they even imported those.

How do you feel about that stock adapter? Compared to one of the 2 piece adapters?
I like the VLTOR. Not the first time I've had it. It's rock solid but it's also slightly heavier than some of the other options available.

This rifle beats up my cheekbone when I shoot it. Either the comb is higher or the stock angle is different than other AKs that I've shot. I think it needs an optic.
So I'm far from the expert but any chance its a 74 buttstock on an akm? I'm pretty sure the stocks are slightly different

ETA: Also just paid attention that its a Yugo. Yugo furniture just be different. From the handguards to the optic rails etc

Thats a Zastava USA buttstock. Didnt come on anything milspec.

I realized the key to not getting beat up by the stock is to not have a cheek weld on the comb. It goes against my training but hovering over the stock instead saves me from the sting

I went ahead and ordered an optics mount and red dot for mine. That will get my cheek bone off of the stock and help these geezer eyes see a target further than 25 yds!
I get a kick out of people telling me you dont need a scope to shoot under 100 yards, I just tell them no, YOU dont need a scope to shoot under 100 yards,

I would answer them but I'm still trying to see who talked to me.
