I don't care about what or how you pack when you jog or do crossfit, so just go ahead and take that discussion to the Grindr concealed carry forum.
I want to hear how you folks that climb fences, belly crawl under holly bushes, slide down 20 ft dirt mounds, trip over silt fences, roll down hills, and sweat like whores in church carry.
For years I've carried the same way, and a lot of you tactical experts will hate it - a pistol in my right rear pocket. It's what I'm used to, but it offers some various tactical disadvantages in that it eventually wears a hole in my pocket, threads/fabric gets worn enough that it snags and I bauble my draw (as seen at Battery Oaks on The Wizard), and going over chainlink fences it will actually pop out if I'm not careful.
I've tried IWB with a 642 with those bare minimum built-in clip grips for Mexi carry, and I really, really hate the exposed trigger for physical activity wherein I'm constantly retrieving junk from my pockets. IWB leather gets nasty AF after the swampass-a-thon that is my typical summer workday. And kydex IWB for those of us with gut is like Kylie Minogue and The Mountain: I can feel it inside of me.
I prefer OWB, but short of wearing a shirt down to my knees, it ends up behind the damn pistol within two swings of a hammer, right when the Shannon Watts intrusive joggers for nosy mothers group runs by, and I would really rather avoid having to pour on the charm all day to quell the fears of Karens that aren't getting enough attention at home.
Don't even get me started about where to set the damn thing in the Port a John...
So, how do you folks that are doing the ugly work carry?
