I appreciate that link. Will take the monster over there Thursday. Although I've not had any problems with 4Health Grainfree I'm open to new ideas.https://nutrisourcedogfood.com/
This stuff was a godsend for our dogs. Check out Best4K9 on Robinhood rd in Winston-Salem. The owner his name is Phill knows more about k9 nutrition then most s Vets in the area.

Lord, I hope it aint dry
Funny that's the same with our dogs they love the salmon food. I have heard that the southern states brand is really high quality and only 38.99 for 30lbs.One of our dogs has a protein allergy, so we get her the salmon and pea dry dog food from Members Mark at Sam’s Club. It’s grain-free and both of our dogs love it. Peanut, who used to sometimes skip a meal and seemed kind of disinterested in her food, now gobbles up this food. She races to her bowl every meal.

Post your favorite grain free dog food. Have been using 4Health Beef and Potato for a long time with no ill affects.
Orijen is the best. But I hate to mention it because the tightwads will stress out again.
I try to not eat that much dog food these days.....
That’s one thing that will likely never happen. That’s one thing I have control over and have planned for for years.Wait till you're on a fixed income.
We've been feeding our dog Taste of the Wild grain-free since she was a pup... Change the flavors around so she doesn't get bored and gets varied protein and veggies. She loves the stuff.
We have swapped between Nutro and TOTW.
I'm beginning to think its all made in the same factory and rebranded.
I would pour some milk on it and chow down if it was all I had.
Any particular reason? Also not grain free as our vet advises against that.
Any particular reason?
I know a common one was potential for heart disease due to a low level of Taurine.
We’ve been feeding ours Fromm’s grain free, and one of the reasons we chose it was it has Taurine added. The good thing about having a 11-12 pound dog is it doesn’t really matter how expensive the food is. We buy the 12lb bags (currently $35-$40 depending on flavor) and get 2-3 months out of them. Bought the first bag 5/11/19, and she emptied the 3rd bag yesterday. So ~8 months to finish off three 12lb bags.
We did Surf & Turf for the first two, Salmon on the third, and she’s enjoying Game Bird for this one. We’ll skip the chicken one, but rotate through most of the others to give her a little variety and prepare her digestive system in case they stop using a certain protein.
We’ve really like the PetPeople store near us for a healthier food selection.
That's what I said too. Then life happened. That’s one thing that will likely never happen. That’s one thing I have control over and have planned for for years.
