Revolver Picture Thread

Here is a few that I have on my phone. 629-3 5 inch, Ruger Gp-100 6 inch and Ruger sp-101. Sadly I no longer have the sp-101

My wife's grand mom used to chase off prowlers with this revo on their little farm in northern Wake County in the 30's and 40's. Top Break S&W
Sorry for the lousy phone pics. It was all I could get.

I've had two of those Taurus 66's; great guns !!
Had a 4"er, as well, that I hated to have to sell. Dunno about their stuff these days, but those early '90s guns were very solid, good shooters.

I suddenly feel all warm and fuzzy.

Moving forward, a 10-6 with a Tyler. If I had to choose one revolver to have for life, it would be this one. I can shoot this gun better than any revolver that I have. The DA in this one is like melted buttah!. And, the SA...well, I don't know, I only shoot this one DA.

Put some new rubber shoes on the Smith & Wesson 65-5 DAO 3". Wood looks nice but rubber Hogue Bantam grips are a better choice for a working / hiking / hot weather revolver. They also make .357 manageable. No padding on the back strap but the finger grooves and beaded rubber allow for solid grip and rapid follow-up shots.

Paging Fwatters85 . Here are the Models 34 (RB and SB) that we talked about earlier today. These are great for low cost double action trigger pull practice and as a stand in for your very nice SB Model 36. I've put more than 10,000 rounds through the round butt 34.

We'll make you a revolver guy soon enough. Also....go ahead and post some of those nice Rugers.

Those are some really nice revolvers. Still trying to figure out how to post photos, once I do I'll post some photos of my two speed six's and the police service six, and the SB 36.

That's one of the coolest pairs of revolvers I have ever seen. I have a 3in Ruger speed six, made in the 200th year of American liberty, and a Postal inspector speed six, I'll take some pictures and post them.

Thank you sir. My Uncle, Alabama State Trooper, bought these new..gave them to my Dad who gave them to me.
They've never been fired. Boy would I love to, but they've made it 35 years as virgins and will stay that way.

Just dropping a photo of this Colt Detective Special with Sile grips and a Tyler T-Grip next to this very nice CFF tumbler (20 oz) by DesignMine (free plug). Well done DesignMine. Thanks.

Here's one more. This is a Smith & Wesson 638 (no dash) and 637 (no dash). Both are limited runs of about 500 made only in 1989. They are .38 Special Airweights. These are different than modern production 638s and 637s because they are clear anodized over aluminum. They look almost stainless. The cylinders and barrels are brushed and not bead blasted.

Sile grips...Made in Italy. Or at least they used to be when they started showing up in the 1970's I think.
