Little different than the cool/interesting cars, which could be any random image online.
But what did YOU see today in real life? What's around your area (again, that YOU saw, not the IG post your friend showed you or something)?
Or yesterday, whatever.

I have a few pics from the past two weeks Ive been meaning to post, why not start this thread with them.

Sunday, Tobaccoville area
Some Japanese imported Mitsu SUV. Was a small 2 door, about the size of an early 00s CRV/Rav etc

Spotted in High Point on Saturday morning. Apparently this is a TransAm (series, not car) team out of HP - Silver Hare Racing. I had no idea

Same intersection in High Point. Friday afternoon. Tire place on Lex by Debeen. Ive never seen one of these in person, I THINK it's a 70 series. They said it was a customer car and not for sale (Not that I would, this thing is more rusty than mine!) WAY worse shape.

Two weeks ago at the junkyard (not IN it, but AT it)

And this is in my neighborhood

Wish I’d kept the picture of the Back to the Future Delorian driving past me on I77 near Galax several years ago. Thought I was seeing things in my rear view, then it rolled right past.

The kid that drives this is in one of my classes. It took me several times seeing it to realize exactly what it was. Honestly I give him props for creativity. Or maybe he just copied something he saw on the innernet...

You might be able to make out this ponyack in the background of the truck pic. I've asked about it several times. The story is, a guy brought it in to the college for the auto mechanics class to do some work on. Well, the guy died and they have no other contact info...

Coolest thing I have to add to this is Jelly Rolls your truck a week or two ago. Wasn’t able to get a clear picture but he was playing in Wilmington the next night.

No pics since I was driving, but got passed by a McClaren last weekend on 221 between Wilkesboro and Boone. I’ve never seen one of those in the wild before. Was hoping we had a fluke snowstorm. 😆

Saw this gem yesterday & couldn’t figure out why dude was showing off the trunk, till I got closer & saw the front mounted engine. Was gonna razz him about putting the motor in the wrong end when I noticed the transverse mounted 3.4L V6. Interior from the donor Grand Am, as well. Freaking FWD Corvair! Not what I’da done, but very cleanly done & kudos for taking the road less traveled.

Two trips to Lowe’s today, two vehicles in the lot that used to be really common but I haven’t seen one in years

I almost bought one of these in SHO trim in 1992, regular trim not so much a favorite but they were absolutely everywhere, now not so much. If I got one I’d trick it out in robocop trim.

This one not as common as the Taurus, but these mini utes were everywhere with the Rocky and the Suzuki Samurai for a couple years until all the rollover issues came to light

Oh wow that feels so weird to look at. I’ve spent a ton of time under the hood working on a 3.4 in my daily driver and it looks like this guy transplanted over EVERYTHING.

Mine isn’t so clean. Pretty tough little motor though.

Yeah, he used as much of that Grand Am as possible & was tickled that the dash & other interior bits were just the right size. I'd mentioned I always drool a bit when I see a clean Corvair for sale, but didn't wanna deal with trying to find parts- he chuckled & said that's why he used every bit of the Grand Am that he could.

Last week on 40 there were 6 black suburban type suvs with tinted windows and gov plates in a row flying through the left lane.

I saw this on the way home yesterday and it was really small. Anyone know what it is?
