We went to a craft fair at a local brewery today
Across from the brewery (foothills), was a Pepsi/Starry parking lot.

Third car from the left, barely seen in pic, was either an old Scout or Bronco, I couldnt tell

On the way home we stopped at a cruise in a few minutes from the house
Mostly muscle cars, classics, and, of course, a 'mopar mafia' group which was a collection of 5 Chargers...then this sweet thing
Had a roll bar, which doesnt show up in pics well

Came across this yesterday at a scrapyard that i was passing by
First gen MR2 but a convertible
APPARENTLY a few cars were converted from the dealers, Im getting info on certain things to look for and going back (hopefully) on Monday
If anything, I hope I can at least pull a few parts from her. Maybe not. But very odd and cool sighting.

So I posted those pics, plus a few others, to a MR2 facebook group...it's a possibility it's one of only 15 that were converted at a dealership on the west coast. Two guys posted who have 'real' ones and the hardware that they can see matches up with what they have.
Now, is it possible another person got ahold of the same hardware? Yes. But there's now a 'movement' to find this a home IF the company is willing to sell it as is with a BOS.

Ill call first thing Monday morning and see what they say, I hope to go back by there Monday after work.
I might be asking who has a truck and trailer and help me out to get it to my house till someone picks it up

Spotted this FJ60 on campus today.
As I just stated in another thread, Ive been getting ready for some larger projects on my FJ, so when I saw this rear end I got very excited (that came out wrong...or right!). 60 and 62 are almost identical minus the grille and lights.
Same color as mine, too.

This was pretty clean inside and out

60/62s are the best series

This lil Suzuki pulled into our AutoZone parking lot just today. Thought the front tag was funny. Right hand steer, 4 wheel drive and thought a cool feature was that the bed sides drop down along with the back. Now all it needs is a machine gun mounted in the back to make it into the Sand land truck of the month Calander.

68 Javelin. Customer at work. We changed the oil on it Friday.
Originally a 290 he built a 390 years ago and swapped it out. Guy is 75 years old. Bought it when he came back from Vietnam and even worked on the assembly line at AMC for years.
Glad he never let it go.

Guy came into my Autzone store looking for a gas cap for a 78 Pinto and was surprised that we didn't have one ( well duh) and was just alil bit pissy. After calming him down a bit he showed it to me in our parking lot and I was really impressed at the old school go fast tech he built in his garage and its called power to weight to ratio and he did this years ago. This is a 78 Pinto station wagon with a really nice stock interior and some decent paint work. 302 swapped using his home built motor mounts, exhaust manifold reversed and pointed to the front cause there is no room to the rear. Engine looks really rough but has a lope to it and really quiet exhaust. C3 trans with a 3500 stall, 9 inch rear with 4;11's and folks, if you have a newer Mustang or Camaro and you see him at a light , don't run him. This car does 11.09 in the quarter, your gonna lose.

I passed a bunch of British cars on 421 and 77 Saturday afternoon. Must have been a show or ride somewhere. All I passed on 421 were running west and under their own power. Everything coming south on 77 was sitting on the side of the road. There was a really nice group on 421 lead by a british racing green XK-E, followed by an Austin Martin and Sunbeam Tiger.

This morning I attended the Greensboro Cars and Coffee, first time going to that one...and a reason I THOUGHT I might make the lunch. Unfortunately it was just too much time between the two and I didnt bring my work/laptop with me.

Anyway, here we go!

On the way there these two duders were heading the same direction
