Gas lines

I'm glad they made a comeback. We'd been trying the last 4 years to Make America Great Again and with Biden, we've succeeded. 1970's-80' Great!
And He did it quickly, almost in his first 100 days.

I bought gas yesterday at a BP just north of Lillington, no one was in the station. Wonder what it looks like today?

Stopped at one in route to lunch today. 6-8 cars lined up beside the building to get to the pumps. So I just drove around to the other side and pulled right up to a pump. 🙄

I actually needed gas this morning, so I drove to the station I usually use. No lines. But the only grade they had was Premium at $3.39 a gallon, so I went back home. A few hours later my daughter texted me that the same station had just got a delivery, so I drove over again. This time they had all three grades, same prices as yesterday, and a "line" of three vehicles at each pump. I think I have enough gas to last me for a few days. I'm old enough to remember the lines during the oil embargo... I survived that, I can probably survive this.

If he could run again...he'd win again. Y'all had a chance 6 months ago and put him Right back in.
Ya wrong there is no yall i did not vote for him one time its all the northerners moving down here voting for him and all of the other excuses for breathing the same air as me

My wife went to Harris Teeter at 1:30, a 5ish mile drive. They are out of gas, and the 3 stations she passed said lines were out of the lot and backed up onto the road.

I'm really surprised it took so long to develop. The supply was cut Saturday am. I topped up my cars Saturday afternoon and I've been waiting for the shoe to drop.

Guess it’s like everything else. We have a 3 day supply then it’s Mad Max time.

Do you think fraud was only committed on the Presidential Race? We had no say in the matter. And likely won’t ever again.

Well at least not in a voting booth.

I too expected the panic to set in Sunday/Monday, but I don't think it had gotten enough publicity until our esteemed Gov. put out his "State of Emergency" Order yesterday.
If colonial kept their mouths shut to the public, noone would have noticed. Smithfield fuel depot has trucks non stop.

Tell the public there "might" be a shortage and there definitely will be one.

Agreed, to me it's basically a self fulfilling prophecy once the "news outlets" started reporting on it.

A person can be smart, but people as a group tend towards stupidity and panic. Keeping this out of the news and off the general publics radar, then there most likely would have been minimal supply chain disruption and nobody would be the wiser.

Now you have a completely different situation...almost as if some prefer it that way?😈

I think you are Right.

BUT, how do Y'all explain the victory for your Lt. Governor???

Well they aren’t totally stupid. The current working theory that I’ve seen is they factor a 3% fudge factor. Trump broke that when he won so they had other resources in place to thwart him in 2020. Mr. Robinson obviously broke that 3 % too. But they don’t have the resources to cheap every way everywhere. P,us if every Democrat won their race even the dimmest amongst us might begib to suspect a rigged game. They have to throw us a bone occasionally. And a Lt. Gov is a pretty weak position. Nothing but a small stepping stone to get your name out,

Or at least all that crap is my theory. But I have been wrong once before. 😆
