Awesomeness was enjoyed today at my first match. Nope, not me, but the whole experience!
Actually, I think I was awesome for actually going out and doing this! I watched and I learned. I went slow (see scores), but that was my plan. I didn't screw up anything majorly.
My shooting was a mixed bag. A very few bursts of newbie "brilliance" mixed in with a bunch of suckiness. Lol. But I'm learning.
My 1911 9mm, on the other hand, was only semi-awesome, as it was up to its old tricks, but it's ok. We made it thru with the help of some great people.
I had a great time meeting even more forum members and generally soaking up any advice that came my way. Everyone was very supportive of a new shooter. I believe my instructors would think I did ok.
