Need a cursed SCIFI AR pistol grip.

Where in the Kentucky fried flock of seagulls did these grips come from?
Hera, a Kraut space-AR bits company.

What handguard is that, do you know?

EDIT: Found it!
I was about to link. Looks pretty bad ass. I love their scifi aesthetic. Makes me want to build unnecessary ARs lol

Oh that's fun

Of all the people in the land... I would not expect YOU to be slowed down at all by "what the factory options are".

I'm a big believer in these two paints for plastics. The Dupli-Color in particular for plastics that flex. I used some on a padded scooter backrest (that is actually a modified Isuzu car headrest).

You can see it in the pic below. This was originally black. I painted it with DupliColor gray, to match the seat and plastics of the scooter. I an truly amazed at how it has held up. Almost a decade later, It is still gray.

I know, I know. Every time I paint furniture it wears very quickly even with my minimal round counts and looks like total arse though. Clean paint jobs are not part of my skillset lol.

The GayR15 has dipped furniture with a little wear but I figure once it gets fugly (from a wear standpoint rather than an eyeball searing standpoint) I'll strip or replace it.

Assuming the weather ever cooperates now I have the parts and warms up enough for me to paint stuff with the twitchy metallic paint.

I understand the standards of cera, but I've got a good bit of duracoated stuff and its held up way better than my rattlecanworks. Duracoat is pretty straight forward and something anyone could do. But, this is all beating a dead horse etc etcPXL_20220827_000948723.jpg

OK, so the lights are in, albeit slightly jank. That's the best I can light the mag without drilling holes in the magwell. I'm still debating doing that lol

Got that Fallout plasma vibe. And the green matches the laser sight and angled dot colour because of course it does.

Love it.

@NCLivingBrit , I keep looking at Hera stuff. This thread‘s gonna make me drop hundreds of dollars to make my AR less functional.

I like this look.

I almost went with the Gen2 stock, but I loved the look of the Gen1. Got the Gen2 foregrip though.

I think I really want their HRS Light stock for something. Guess I know what to get if I decide to SBR my 9mm AR pistol....

what i don't get about that new hera is how far you have to drop it on your shoulder since it seems to be missing the lower half of the buttpad
I guess those really high red dot mounts have a market there...
