Its a takedown that takes glock mags just for starters. Pic rail, ambi charging and ejection, flutes barrel. Lots of improvement to the PC9looks like the older PC9. what's the big difference? The magazines?
I want a Marlin camp 9 to go w my 3rd gen pistols.
Do want. But why so fugly?
I'm with you on that. GunBlast had reliability issues with his. My original PC9 Carbine has never experienced a malfunction with any type of ammo I've run through it. It's one of my favorite firearms.I won't be buying one until the Gen 2 comes out that has all of the bullshit Ruger fixes for the problems that are sure to make the first gen a complete and utter turd.
via Imgflip Meme GeneratorYet those fools at Glock can't make something like this that uses glock mags.
I always wanted one but after production and never could find one that wasn't more than i wanted to pay. I figured there was a reason for that.Nice, I always wanted the Marlin Camp 9 when they were available.
I have the Beretta PX4 Storm 9mm, some say that is one ugly rifle.
I just assume let the fan boys buy them, discover all of the problems, deal with sending them back to Ruger, and then let Ruger get the Gen 2 released. Hopefully they do it quicker than they did with the LCP. (which was what, 3-4 years?)Lusty but I'm with JRHorne, waiting at least until the seemingly inevitable recall is complete.
I like it. Would is be a faux pas to hope for a M&P a mag well!?
I was just looking at this very thing, read a couple of things saying that the Ruger mags and the M&P mags share some commonality and can use extended baseplates, I don't have a SR mag to compare it to, however it might work in it. If not its basically a 3D printer part away.
Man - I'm thinking hard about this one. If I can get a stock setup similar to my 10/22's this may be my new PCC for steel challenge. I'm so used to my 10/22's this would be awesome. +1 on waiting for the bugs to be worked out though. I'd also like to see a cheaper non-takedown version.
I wouldn't be surprised if a Kidd trigger in this thing will make it a select fire gun.I was completely and utterly disinterested in this ugly gun.
Until it was said it takes 10/22 parts!
Kidd trigger....... game changer! Pretty affordable gun.
I'll wait to see if ZachAttack starts slaughtering people with it first! If that happens, I'm on it like a blue bonnet!
A recall and a safety bulletin up top on the home page for the gun...

Fixed it for you.I'm hoping this sells like hot cakes and they introduce a 10mm version in 2019.
Fixed it for you.
Reading the ad...says they will be able to take glock mags.I'd like to see a non-take down with a bull barrel set up for GLOCK mags... flutes suck...
It kinda looks like an unfinished design to me as far as the looks. But why would ruger waste time and making it look good when magpul is gonna make furniture for it.

Thank you Captain Obvious. If you'd been following the thread, you'd have noticed I made several comments hinting at the likely forthcoming recalls of the PCC given Rugers track record. My picture post was to amplify the hilarity that is Ruger as of late. Those recalls are for the Precision Rifle and the Mark 4 pistols. There is no recall on the 9mm PC Carbine. Those recall banners show on all the pages on the Ruger site.
