Shotgun Picture Thread?

Here is a two-fer....

Another former LEO 870. This one a Wingmaster Magnum. 18" Cyl barrel with tritium bead. Wood furniture with the old style corncob forend. 6+1 capacity. Again loaded with Federal LE12700 because flite control is the bee's knees... More in the side saddle along with a few slugs for good measure. Streamlight TLR-1 on a streamlight shotgun mount.

Next we have a Remington 11-87 Special Purpose. Ive got several barrels for this one but at the moment it's wearing an 18.5" parkerized police barrel with IC choke and tritium bead. Wilson +1 extension (5+1 capacity), dave's metal works easyloader, extended charging handle, loaded again with LE12700 with more onboard along with a slug or three. TLR-1 on a Streamlight mount here too.

(Extra barrels include a 21" RS RC barrel and a 28" VR RC barrel)

I never liked the looks of the Magpul stock but after shooting it I am a convert. Really comfortable to shoot. Still points almost like a shotgun but easier to keep muzzle up while reloading, and easy to adjust for different shooters or body armor. I love them.
I am keeping wood stocks on my personal guns but the work 870’s are getting swapped over to the Magpul

I am a short guy (5'7"), the LOP without spacers on the Magpul is perfect for me. It also makes it easier to manipulate the safety on an 870. I didn't like the looks of it before I actually shot one either but I am now a convert. Function over form every time.

I get this one back from Browning tomorrow. It was sent off to replace the butt stock and forearm under the 'sticky' recall. It will be a black carbon fiber finish. It's a Winchester model 1300 with marine finish, 12 gauge magnum. This photo is from the dealers site.

Here’s my new “refreshed” dove gun ... (pictures and “refresh” courtesy of @NiceOldDouble)

Took a little time but the little woman took a couple dove ... she’s no lady though. She’s light weight and the stock is on the smallish side so she lets you know when she barks. I will stay though it is a treat to hunt with an old double ...

Nothing official. I've blasted some pumpkins fairly close with some #8 target shells but that didn't tell me much. lol.

If you haven’t tried (and can find) Federal Flight Control Buck try it ... between the Flight Control wad and copper plated buck shot it tightens up the pattern nicely. I can cover all 9 pellets (and the wad half the time) from my 18.5” M1S90 @ 10 yards. From that 10-11” barrel of yours home distances would likely be sweet.

My 1959 Pietro Beretta Silver Hawk. Got this as a birthday gift from my wife around 20 years ago. She got it from her stepdad for $1. It's had maybe one box of shells through it. I would say condition is 98% or better. According to the 1959 Beretta shotgun catalog it sold for$159.75 new.

I’m not sure everyone’s stance on Remington’s auto-loaders but I’ve been extremely interested in the system to where I desired it more than the Benelli M4. Once the V3 tacticals came out I knew I had to have one.. I’ve fed it only slugs so far with various brands and velocities (high velocity, low velocity, etc) and I’m ~600 down the pipe without malfunction. I’ve done a quick wipe down each session but usually run 100-150 each time.

I’m fairly new to shotguns having used only pump shotguns (590, 870, and KSG) prior to owning this one but the recoil is so low you could shoot this all day without having a bad time tomorrow. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this reliable as it’s a semi but I’m a firm believer in the Versaport system thus far.

Mossberg 500 with ATI Scorpion stock always set on go for things that may go bump at night.
And Panzer PRO AR12 with carbine stock.
Took few boxes of high brass to get her seated in but eats mist anything now after full cleaning and massage of internals. Have a 20 round drum but haven't ran enough thru it to say I like it.PXL_20210609_182938013.jpg

I have a mint condition ww greener. The was a true 12g and not a converted 14.5 gauge. It’s basically a martini Henry 12g

Very nice. Teams would find these in Afghanistan but Khyber Pass copies. They would demill them and take them home. Never was able to acquire one and do a Form 6 import.

I looked at a few bring backs and imports, but they where always 14.5 gauge or converted to 12g. When I found this made for the US model I jumped on it.

I've got one of the Greener's that has been converted to 45-70 with a nice octagon barrel.

Picked up a 2004 870 express magnum with I believe a 18 or 18.5" barrel, had some pistol grip stock, swapped that for a police take off stock i found on ebay, already had the 900 lumen treeline forend from TSC, swapped the j lock safety for a normal one, pressed out the mag dimples, waiting on a +2 choate mag extension and I think it'll be a good home defense weapon. Figured the action would be rough, but it's actually smooth. Figured I'd get this and let the 1980 wingmaster stay a safe queen. IMG_20210825_195822567.jpg

So I picked up one of those police trade 870s with the orange stocks from Kings Firearms.

So luckily I had a set of black Speedfeeds on the shelf.

But more importantly this is a test platform for shotgun optics for me. Yes I'm getting old man eyes....

Suarez International RMR mount with an HE508Tv2

Did the drill and tap work myself. Not half bad for a half blind hillbilly.

I've got some other goodies on the way soon and will post more pics when she's done. If I end up liking the way this shoots with the Holosun, I have two more Suarez mounts for other guns.
