Shotgun Picture Thread?

For not being much of a 'shotgun guy', they do accumulate over time.

I'll post a few of the less popular, I guess.

I've come to love this Remington 31, born in June 1942/Aug. '43 repair. It's before the 870 series and it's what the Mossberg 500 series is based off of. Smoooooth.

Not so rare, but a pair of Benelli M1 Super 90s. One of them has a straight stock these days.

Even cooler is the M1 S90's daddy, the Benelli M121.

The rarest of my '97's (c. 1916), but really not that rare.

One day I will find a ‘97 that I can afford. Heck I would be OK with a Norinco.

Awesome HawkI Hard to find a 70 year old gun that looks brand new!
My wifes step dad bought the gun new in 1959. He had shot one box of shells through it. Somewhere around 1990 I got it from him. I have shot 2 shells in it. It's pretty much like new. Just as tight as the day it came out of the box.

Stevens model 54. 410 bore. Made sometime between 1932 and 1943.
Found it several years ago at a gun show. Most tables at the show were full of tactical rifles, shotguns and black pistols. But there on one table was this thing.
Missing the bolt. The wood and metal were in pretty bad shape. I walked around the place several times. Each time it would catch my eye for some reason. They guy wanted way too much and what would I do with it.
But I took it home.
I refinished the wood and re-blued the metal.
Then I started my search for the bolt. Couldn't find one anywhere. But, Numrich said they didn't have the bolt but had most parts to build the bolt for a model 54. So based on what Numrich said I started collecting parts to build my own. Spending money and a lot of time collecting all the parts needed to build my bolt. I actually had a complete bolt built. Problem. I don't know what STEVENS MODEL 54, 410 the bolt was supposed to fit, But it did not fit my 54. Came close but No. Got in touch with Numrich. " They actually said I need to cut a Groove in the Receiver so the bolt will work???? ". After 80 years. NOW it needs a groove?????? I still have all the numrich parts. I got so dang mad I wanted no more contact with them.
Anyway, After over a year and a half of searching. Narrowly avoiding a scam. I finally found my bolt. Priceless to me. I will pass it to my Great Grandson.

I see you have this for sale. What changed your mind? I look into one of these when I was looking for a 3-1/2” gun. I settled on a Beretta A400 Xtreme. I’m pretty pleased with it but still in the back of my mind want one of those Browning Cynergys

Got another cynergy with 26” barrels.

Oh wow. I have never seen one with a vent rib. That’s cool. Wish my 410 had one. That’s pretty. What year is it? It looks to be in awesome shape
Born in 2007 according to the serial number. I bought it from the original owner a couple years ago. He claims only 10 rounds through it and I have to agree as it looks brand new. I have all 3 original factory chokes with it too. On the fence about posting it in the classifieds. It just sits in the safe unfired by me....

Oh it’s got chokes too? Man!!! What gauge?

Nothing real pretty about this one but it means a lot to me. My grandpaw’s LC Smith Field 20. Will probably break it out opening morning of dove season and switch over to my Beretta A400 Xtreme when the birds get higher.

Hoping to get @NiceOldDouble to do his magic on this when I get some extra cash

Well didn’t expect to add an O/U so soon, but this came home with me this week from Target Shotguns. Went up there intending just to intending to handle a Zoli, but it fit me so well I ended up purchasing. Zoli Z Sport flat rib, color case hardening by Turnbull, engraving by Thierry Duguet.
